Backstory: Annabella grew up in New York City with her older siblings who were twins, Charlie and Evelyn Brooks. She was always good in school and got into medical school. Before she finished high school, she got into her first relationship with a man called Harrison Jones. They relationship started out quite healthily but quickly got toxic. He mentally abused her and Annabella had to break up with him when she finished med school and went to Seattle for her internship. This led to him hitting her and raping her. Her brother found her crying on the floor and she told him everything which led to Harrison being put in prison and Annabella going to Seattle.
Annabella quickly became friends with the other intern's, Alex Karev, Christina Yang, George O'Malley, Izzie Stephens and Meredith Grey. Annabella became friends with Derek Shepherd, Mark Sloan, Callie Torres, Arizona Robbins, Miranda Bailey, Lexie Gray, Richard Webber and Owen Hunt.
A merge happens, leading to Mercy West and Seattle Grace to merge and causing drama and tensions to rise between both hospitals.
