Third Person POV:

The first place Y/N could think of to check for Bucky was his bedroom, well his old bedroom. She knew it would be a long shot knowing Bucky he had probably already left by now. Bucky usually took off for a drive or a walk when everything became too much for him.

Y/N pulled her hand up to knock on his door. She had hope, maybe not alot but some. "Bucky you there?" Her voice rang through the door.

Bucky stood in his room, tears streaming down his face. Hearing her voice only made everything worse. His sobs echoed through the door.

"Bucky I can hear you...please I just want to talk to you."

Bucky's strength weakened. He was mad, upset but ultimately he just wanted to see her. He pulled the door open to the room letting Y/N walk in before closing it behind her. Although he missed her his anger still showed through when he tried to talk to her.

"What could you possibly have to say to me right now?"

"I swear it's not what Tony told you! That was a lie!"

"Wow! Seriously! How could he be lying when you told me it happened!"

"I...I thought he told you something else..."

"So something did happen? Something with Steve? So even if Tony was lying something did happen! And you didn't tell me!"

"Yes..." Y/N's eyes shifted to the ground feeling like she had betrayed him on so many levels.

"So it doesn't matter! Right! That's what you're gonna say? My girlfriend hooked up with my best friend!"

"IT WASN'T LIKE THAT!"

"Then tell me what was it like? Did you guys have sex? Did you guys date? Did you love him?" Bucky's mind ran a million miles a minute thinking of all the possibilities.

"NO! When I said it was a one time thing I meant a stupid kiss. We played truth or dare when Steve first joined the Avengers! That's it! That's all that happened! Bucky you are the only man I have ever...been with...The only man I've ever loved."

The new information washed across Bucky's face. His tears came back but he didn't know if it was out of happiness or regret of his actions.

"I'm such an idiot...Y/N I'm so sorry."

"You have nothing to be sorry for! It wasn't your fault you thought that. I love you."

Y/N wrapped her hand around Bucky's neck pulling him down to meet his lips with hers. Their lips moved in synchronicity, their love and passion guiding them. Of everything that happened today, the only thing that mattered at that moment was each other. Nothing could break their love. Not even Tony Stark.

Meanwhile all the Avengers quickly left the living room after receiving the withering stare from Wanda, well all but Stark.

"Wanda....I..."

"No!" Wanda somehow had the capability to be stern yet calm all at the same time. "For once in your life Stark you are going to shut the hell up and listen!"

Tony reluctantly held back any smart ass comments he could think of, opting to sit silently, his gaze fixed on Wanda.

"I...God! I don't even know where to start with you Tony! Are you kidding me? WE HEARD EVERYTHING YOU SAID TO HER!"

Tony's body language spoke a thousand words, his squirming, his constant gulping and his eyes flickering away from Wanda's stare.

"SHE'S YOUR SISTER TONY! SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND! YOU THINK I'M GOING TO LET YOU TALK THAT WAY ABOUT HER?"

"...I didn't mean for it to go that far...."

Wanda raised her hand signalling Tony to stop speaking.

"SAVE IT! It's not your turn to speak! Do you even realise what you just did? You know how hard it's been on Y/N! Her whole life! And she stood by you through everything! She was there through the women. The drinking. Ultron. All of it! She defended you to everybody! SHE DEFENDED YOU TO ME! She's the only reason I can stand to be in the same room with you!"

"Wanda...I didn't know. I really didn't think! If I could go back and change it I would."

"You don't think that Bucky would take it back if he could?"

Wanda pushed her index finger into Tony's chest, watching as the force moved his body backwards. "You don't think that he thinks about that everyday? You don't think he wants to take back killing the parents of the woman he loves?"

Tony became frustrated the more his parents were being discussed. It was his ultimate achilles heel.

"You want honesty? I don't even think Y/N thinks about them at this point!"

Wanda lost it at that moment. Her hands glowing red with power and the anger surging through her entire body. The kitchen knife that sat perched just over the counter top flew towards Tony at lightning speed. It narrowly missed slicing his face in two, simply the metal plunged deep into the wall behind Tony's trembling body. He put on a show but out of all the Avengers Wanda was the one that everyone feared the most. Her powers were strong, especially when it came to those she loved and desired to protect.

"You need to be very careful what you say next Stark! I'm not your sister and I will not hesitate to hurt you!"

"Okay fine! You want me to be real for once! FINE! Y/N means everything to me...SHE IS THE ONLY FAMILY I HAVE! I...I don't want her to get hurt...and I know Barnes will hurt her!"

"Right now you're the only one who is hurting her Tony..."

"She doesn't hurt Wanda! How do you not get this? You wanna know something? You wanna know why I think that?"

"WHAT?"

"Y/N has never cried! Not once! Not even the day she found out about our parents! NEVER!"

Wanda's face twisted with confusion, she knew Y/N. At this point more than Tony probably knew his own sister.

"That's what you think? You think she never cared for them? Tony, she was protecting you! She's always been protecting you!"

Tony turned to face Wanda, clear signs of misunderstanding and doubt splattered across his face. He questioned everything he ever knew.

"You're her big brother! She didn't want you to worry about her!"

"Show me!"

Wanda's voice finally wavered at Tony's request. Something she knew she couldn't do without breaking every trust Y/N had put in her. But part of her wondered if it would help, if it would give Tony some understanding of the incredible woman his sister truly was.

"I...I can't do that!"

Tony was through asking, his tone switched. This was no longer a question. This was a demand.

"SHOW ME!"

"Fine! But I warned you!"

With that Wanda placed her hand against Stark's temple. The red glow returning in her hand, the small floating gesture sent visual memories into Tony's mind. His eyes shined red as the crimson glow disappeared into his mind.

He was not ready for everything he was about to bear witness to.
