Tale as old as time, true as it can be
Barely even friends, then somebody bends, unexpectedly
Just a little change, small, to say the least
Both a little scared, neither one prepared

Wat's POV
I was bracing for the inevitable heartbreak of post-breakup, yet, Tine was back in my arms again after my birthday.
Perhaps, birthday wishes do come through if I prayed hard enough.
We had nothing planned for the afternoon, I just wanted to laze around with my Tine.
Especially after the horrifying experience of a near breakup, I was pretty sure Tine needed a break from his headspace as well.
Tine, you had put up a good fight.
I wasn't even aware of the movie playing.
My fingers curled against Tine's soft locks, savouring the delicateness blooming at the tips of my calloused fingers.
My lips found Tine's scalp, inhaling the unique mixture of shampoo and natural sweetness emitting from Tine.
It felt like I was finally back home with Tine in my arms.
"Ai'Wat, I'm not an air freshener."
"Just want to lock you in my arms today."
I mumbled incoherently into Tine's hair.
Tine turned and straddled me abruptly, initiating an unexpected kiss.
It was a slow and soft kiss, taking away all the burning passion and fiery lust, it was just us trying to memorise every dip and curve of one another's lips.
Tine licked my lower lip gently and gladly, I opened my mouth to let him in freely, accidentally letting out a moan in the process.
"Role switching huh?"
I could almost sense the hint of playfulness in Tine's voice.
Narak.
"Tine Teepakorn, stop teasing me."
Or I will not stop kissing you for the rest of my life.
"Or what? You would kiss me till I drop?"
"Tine!" I blushed at the mention of that flirty line.
"You've said that since we graduated from high school and I haven't even dropped yet." Tine pouted cutely.
And it was that second, that I realised that no matter how Tine had tried to run away from me, I would never ever let him go.
He is my Muse, my prayer and my whisper.
Everything in me led me back home to Tine.
"You and your pretty little mouth."
I channelled all I have into that kiss, pressing our lips together firmly until drools were streaming from the corner of our lips.
I couldn't really differentiate whose were that. At the end of the day, it didn't matter.
Tine slipped his palms like a ragdoll against my shoulder blades, his fingers digging deeply into my shirt. I was sure that there would be half-crescent marks left behind later.
Our tongues tangled together and waltzed, as if time had lost its hold against us.
Only our throbbing heartbeats were reminding us of our existence.
