I would've walked through hell to find another way
I would've laid me down if I knew that you would stay
I would've crossed the stars to keep you in my life

Tine's POV

Chrysanthemum fields, cool breeze, Sarawat.

Sarawat looked like an angel, basked in the soft glow of the morning light.

"Wat, why are you here?"

"No, Tine, why are you here?"

What do you mean? Why am I here?

"No, Wat, where am I now?"

I grabbed Sarawat's arms before he could leave me all alone in the chrysanthemum field.

"Tine, these are chrysanthemums."

Instead of answering my question, Sarawat diverted his attention to the flowers surrounding us.

"I know, but that doesn't answer my question, Wat. Please?" I pleaded, my voice was cracking.

"Do you know what does chrysanthemum flowers represent?" Sarawat looked up and smiled at me softly, as if we were still in our apartment unit, just like how he would usually look at me.

"No, Wat. Is that important?" Tears were forming at the rim of my eyes, Sarawat was dissipating in the air slowly.

I could feel Sarawat slipping away between my fingers gradually, I couldn't feel his warmth anymore.

"That would answer a lot of your doubts, my love."

With that, Sarawat turned into a puff of smoke, the chrysanthemum field dissolved into darkness and I could feel a strong force pulling me away from the once lively field.

"Wat, please, don't leave me alone!"

I let out a high-pitched scream, my heart pounding rapidly as I lost my consciousness again.

"Tine! My love!"

I felt for Sarawat's left hand immediately, wanting to feel the faint pulse throbbing under his wrist. I released a deep breath that I didn't know I was holding, alongside the pent up panic and anxiety within myself.

What the f'ck was that just now?

"Baby, I'm here." Sarawat's voice was trembling.

His right thumb brushed against my cheeks delicately, his lips pressing light kisses on my temple as he murmured my name repeatedly.

"Wat."

I still couldn't differentiate if I am still in my dreams or if this is the reality I am in right now.

"Yes, baby?"

"Hug me, please?"

As soon as Sarawat made his way under the duvet and pressed his body against mine, I sucked in a puff of air greedily, allowing Sarawat's manly scent to soothe my nerves.

What was that just now?

"Tine, are you okay?"

Sarawat stroked my back as I snuggled closer into him. With that nightmare earlier haunting me, I just want to strengthen my sense of security.

"Wat, don't leave me alone, please."

"Tine, you were the one who had left me alone just now." Sarawat's voice was so soft, if I were a little further away from him, I wouldn't even hear those words.
