Tine's POV
I blinked a few times as I braced for the crushing pain in my skull to hit me, yet nothing happened.
The light in the ward was seemingly too bright, yet too dim at the same time.
I'm back, alive and well.
The weight pressing on my shoulders fell off in a split second. The first deep breath I took felt refreshing.
So, this is how it feels to be alive.
I tried to wriggle my fingers, only to poke into a squishy filling.
I could feel the scars of Wat's face welding against my fingertips, and that knowledge alone was comforting enough.
Sarawat lifted his head disorientedly, his usually well-kept hair was sticking out in different directions now. He looked so adorable in his sleepy eyes.
His eyes widened abruptly when he realised I was already looking at him with a small smile tugging against my lips.
"Tine, baby, my love. I love you so much."
The sudden confession didn't sound right.
However, if it was all Sarawat needed to know that I was fine, then I guessed it didn't really matter that I was still lying on the bed with tubes attached to my body.
"Wat."
My voice sounded hoarse.
Sarawat stared at me with his tired eyes, the sunlight pouring from the windows created a halo around Sarawat, he was like an angel who descended from heaven.
He cradled my cheeks carefully, his thumb stroking against my cold cheeks.
I leaned into Sarawat's warm touch greedily, I couldn't exactly remember when was the last time Sarawat caressed my cheeks this lovingly.
It felt like I was out for an eternity.
"Don't be sad okay, you are still my cutest baby and tua woon wai, even though you had your hair shaved off."
I let out a defeated smile. I was sure that I was nowhere near being a chic guy, but as long as I am alive and well, nothing else matters.
Sarawat printed a sniff kiss lightly on my cheeks and ran his large palms against mine.
My fingers were longer and more slender while Sarawat's fingers were veiny and slightly shorter, but when we slotted our fingers together, they filled the spaces in between perfectly.
Just like the two of us, different spectrums, yet coming along perfectly.
"Ai'Wat."
"Yes, my love."
"Do you think it's a good plan to get married once I am discharged?"
"It's an amazing plan."
"Really?"
"Chai."
Without any rings or fancy decorations, Sarawat and I kissed one another's ring finger longingly, sealing our promises to be each other's lifelong partners.
This time, it's going to happen, no matter what it takes.

"Ai'Wat, let me off!"
Sarawat's strong arms circled my torso loosely as I made breakfast, he grumbled incoherently against my nape and I blushed profusely as I felt the warmth of his breath fanning.
"Don't want, I want cuddles. Lots of cuddles"
I shook my head disbelievingly, the uprising rockstar in Thailand was acting like a koala bear. As I looked down, the silver glints on our ring fingers caught my attention.
