Chapter 19: Love Pain

Suho's POV

It's been 4 hours since we've arrived at the hospital. She was taken into a room about 30 minutes after we arrived. We're just waiting for them to finish doing all of the tests on her. Finally, a doctor comes out of the room and greets us.

"Can I speak to somebody that's her relative?" The doctor asks. "She doesn't have any siblings. She's an only child." I answer. "Oh, then any spouse's possibly?" The doctor asks while looking around. "I'm her boyfriend." I reply while standing up. "Hm, makes sense. We've got the results back of all of her injuries." The doctor says we start paying a lot of attention to him now.

"Will she be okay?" Sehun asks. "We're not sure since she's unconscious. She does need sugery for her injuries." The doctor replies. "How bad are they?" I ask. "She has internal bleeding, 4 fractured ribs and a lot of bruises obviously. The bruises will take a while to heal. There is one more thing that did happen..." The doctor says, not saying everything that he has to say.

"Well, what is it?" I ask. "I'm going to have to speak to you in private." The doctor says to me. The members look at me wide-eyed and I'm also shocked. "Follow me." The doctor says and I do as he says.

"What is it that you need to talk to me about?" I ask the doctor. "We found some blood coming from her lower region and I ran a couple tests on that. Which brings me to the question that I need to ask you, how long has it been since you and Scarlett had sexual intercourse?" The doctor says to me. "Uh, it's been about 3 or 4 months. Wae?" I ask with curisity. "Scarlett was 2 months pregnant and the blood was the result from a miscarriage. It must've been from when those girls were punching and kicking her." The doctor tells me and I feel pretty shocked from this sudden news.

"I'll let you process the information that I've just given you. But for now, go back to your friends. Tell them if you wish." The doctor says to me before walking away. I start walking back towards the waiting area outside of Scarlett's room.

"Hey, hyung! Is everything alright? You look like you've seen a ghost." Chanyeol says to me. "Uh, yeah. I'm fine." I reply while sitting down. "Are you sure? What did the doctor say to you?" Chen asks and I take a deep breath in.

"The doctor said that there was blood coming from Scarlett's lower region and that was a result from a miscarriage. She was 2 months pregnant. The cause of it is from her being kicked and punched by the sasaengs." I tell them. I look up and see that they're all pretty shocked from what I just said.

"Hyung...mianhae. I didn't even know." Chen says to me. "It's fine. You didn't know, I didn't even know." I reply. "Do you think Scarlett knew, you know, her being pregnant?" Xiumin asks. I start to think about that and sigh. "The only way to find out is to wait until she wakes up." I answer and go back to being silent.

"Was I really that close to being a father? Did she know about it? No, she would have told me. Wouldn't she? I wonder how she'll react once she hears the news."

Scarlett?! Pregnant! If this actually happened, imagine how the fans reaction would be! 0.0 It would be absolute chaos within our fandom.
I'll do my best to update a chapter every day while I'm on break. I can't promise that I'll be update every weekend like I've been doing ever since I posted this story. I have finals and EOC's coming up. I hope you guys can understand if I'm not updating as often as I used to. ^_^
