Chapter 56: I do

Scarlett's POV

It's almost noon and I'm already at the wedding venue. It's at Jeju island and I love it so far! Key from SHINee helped me out with the decorations! He did an awesome job!

"Scarlett, you have to get in the dress now so that we can do your make-up." Taeyeon says to me as she enters the room. She's my maid of honor and she's helped me out a lot these past couple of weeks.

"Araso, unnie." I say to her and she hands me the dress and shoes that I'm supposed to wear. About 3 more hours until I have to walk down the aisle...

~~Time Skip~~

My make-up, hair and dress are already done. The bridesmaids, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Ailee and Joy, are in the room with me right now. I just check the time and it says that it's already 1 o'clock.

The door opens and I see Siwon, Baekhyun, Minho and Changmin enter the room.

"Annyeong! What are you guys doing here?" I ask them. "We just dropped by to say hello before you have to walk down the aisle." Siwon says to me. "Oh, araso." I say awkwardly.

Baekhyun walks up to me and hugs me. "Don't be nervous, Scarlett-ah. You should make the best out of this since this is your wedding day. In case you wanted to know, Suho is already here. He's getting ready as we speak." Baekhyun says to me. "Gomayo Baekhyun. How is he doing?" I ask him. "He's doing okay other than freaking out about how the vows are going to go." He replies and I just laugh.

Next, Siwon engulfs me in a hug. "You look beautiful in that dress. Stay calm, everything will be okay." Siwon says to me and I thank him. He acts like a brother mixed with a father towards me.

Minho walks up to me after Siwon leaves the room. "I'm happy that you're getting married now and I wish you and Suho the best! You really need to decide the godfather of your kids by the way." Minho says with a laugh and I agree with him.

The final person to talk to me is Changmin from TVXQ. We don't really talk to each other but Suho told me not too long ago that he's actually a really nice guy. I guess I shouldn't be too nervous talking to him.

"I wish you luck on your wedding day. Everybody is here for you if you decide to cry," He pauses and we laugh, "Congratulations on both the marriage and you and Suho's future kids." He says and leaves the room.

Once they leave, the door opens and I see Leeteuk standing there. As soon as he sees me, he smiles.

"Are you ready?" Leeteuk asks me in a soft voice. "No." I reply and he chuckles. "Well, your future husband is waiting for you right now." He says to me. The bridesmaids have already left.

"Do you think I'll do okay? What happens if I fall on my face while I'm walking down the aisle? What if-" Leeteuk interrupts my rambling by hugging me. "You'll be fine. Don't look anywhere else but either me or Suho for support. And it's okay if you fall or cry, we'll understand." He says to me.

I thank him and link arms with him as we both prepare to walk down the aisle.
Here goes nothing.

Suho's POV

I'm standing waiting for the music to start playing so that Scarlett can walk down the aisle. I'm extremely nervous but I guess that's a good thing. I can't be confident about everything.

"Hyung, relax. Everything is going to be okay." Baekhyun whispers, trying to calm me down. "I hope so but I just can't help it." I whisper back to him. "You worry too much, hyung." He says quietly.

After that, the music for when the bride comes out starts to play.

I see Scarlett walking in with Leeteuk. She looks so beautiful in that wedding dress! I can't help but smile just by seeing her. I can so tell that my eyes are starting to water. I've never been this emotional before!

Leeteuk and Scarlett are now staffing right in front of me. Leeteuk hands her off to me and says, "Congratulations." Before going to sit down.

Scarlett and I look at each other and she says, "Uljima, I don't like seeing you cry."

Both of us get quiet as the priest starts to recite the formal quotes that he has to read.

"Do you, Scarlett Anderson, take Kim Joonmyeon to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The prices asks Scarlett. "I do." She responds with a big smile. Gosh, I just love seeing her smile!

"Do you, Kim Joonmyeon, take Scarlett to be your lawfully wedded wife?" He asks me. "I do." I say with a smile.

"By the power invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." The priest says.

And once he does, I embrace Scarlett and immediately give her a passionate kiss on the lips.

I can hear people whooping, hollering and yelling while we're kissing but that doesn't matter right now. All that matters is that I'm married to the love of my life. She's the girl of my dreams and the girl who's going to be the mother of my kids.

Cute how Leeteuk acted as her father and walked her down the aisle. ☺️
