Chapter 38: Meeting with SM

Scarlett's POV

Today's the day that I have a meeting with SM. I'm already up and ready to go. I'm just looking in the mirror to make sure that my outfit doesn't have any wrinkles or stains.

I'm wearing a red blouse with black dress pants and red TOMs. I think that looks 'professional' enough for a meeting.

I hear somebody open the door to the room and I turn to see who it is. It's Suho.

"Are you leaving now?" Suho asks me. "Ne, wae?" I say to him. "I was thinking of driving you there. I can wait there and drive you back home." Suho tells me. "Are you sure? You don't have to do that if you don't want to." I say to him. "It's okay; I'm doing this because I want to." Suho says to me and I smile. "We better start leaving then." I tell him and we start to make our way out the dorm.

I've finally arrived at the SM building. I check the time and see that I only have 15 minutes until the meeting starts. I might as well head to the room now.

I walk through the doors and greet the lady at the desk. She acknowledges me and just hands me a piece of paper. The paper said SM's office.

That's the last level of the building. I've only been there once and that was for talking to SM more about how our schedules would be arranged. I guess this meeting is going to be pretty serious.

I take the elevator to get to SM's office. It's the only things that's on that level so it's not hard trying to find it.

I knock on the door once I've arrived. "Come in." I hear SM say from the other side of the door. I open the door and bow.

"Ah, annyeonghaseyo Scarlett! Please, come sit." SM says to me and I sit at one of the chairs in front of his desk.
"Annyeonghaseyo, SM." I say to him before hearing what he has to say. He takes a deep breath in before he starts to speak.

"I'm really sorry for what had happened between you and your group. There's some information that you need to know about what happened and what we found out. I'll talk to you about that after we've decided what you want to do with your contract with SM. I do have a few options, in case you didn't know." SM says to me. I nod my head. "Nam-Gi told me some of the options." I reply.

"Which ones did he tell you?" SM asks me. "He told me about becoming a model, an actress, continuing in my singing career or terminating my contract." I reply and SM shakes his head. "That's not all of them. I had another one. I don't know why he didn't tell you about that one." SM tells me and I look at him confused on what he's talking about.

"The other option I have for you is something that I think you would be more happy and comfortable with. The pay isn't as much as the actress, model or singer but it's good for most people." SM says to me. "What is it?" I ask curiously. "The other option is becoming a photographer for SM." SM announces.

"Would I be doing all of the group's or will you have me doing certain ones?" I ask him. "We have a photographer for Red Velvet, Girls Generation, TVXQ and SHINee. We don't have one for EXO, Super Junior or f(x) yet. They left to a different company sadly. I know it's a lot of work, but I was really hoping that you would consider this option so that these spots are filled." SM explains to me. I listen carefully to everything that he's telling me.

"How often would I be doing this?" I ask him. "Whenever they're making a comeback or debuting with a solo album. This could also go for promotions with SM. It all depends on what's going on. You probably won't be working that often and you'll get a lot of free time. I will email you whenever we need your help for those groups though. What do you say?" SM says to me. "You got yourself a deal." I say happily and he smiles at me.

He stands up and I do the same thing. He extends his hand out and I do the same. We shake hands.

"I'm glad to have you back on board. We have other matters to discuss that are at hand right now. You're also involved in this one." SM says and I proceed to sit back down in his seat. I sit back down to listen to what else is going on.

"We did some research on Haneul and who she is. Her behavior wasn't like her according to her parents and close friends. After some more in depth research and police interrogating her, we found out that she joined this company to stalk someone and kill their girlfriend." SM tells me and I'm shocked. There are only two people that could possibly be her targets.

"Was it Taeyeon or me?" I ask SM. "She was after you. Mianhae for not realizing it sooner. We wouldn't have accepted her if we knew what she was planning on doing. She confessed to stalking you in the past. She's the one who took pictures of you and the EXO members while you guys were at the amusement park. She sent it to a newspaper company and before we know it, its all over the news stations in South Korea." SM says and I take in all the information that he has told me.

"Would you like to get a restraining order? You won't have to go to court unless she doesn't abide by the restraining order." SM explains to me. "Ne, that would be nice. Kamsahmnida for letting me know. I never thought that she would be like this. I'm glad that I wasn't hurt again. Is that all for now?" I say to SM.

"Ne, that is it for now. I'll email you your schedule if you have anything coming up soon with EXO, Super Junior or f(x). I'll let the police know about the restraining order. Please be safe Scarlett-ah." SM tells me.

"Kamsahmnida SM. I'll be careful." I tell him before leaving his office.
I go down to the lobby and I see Suho sitting on one of the couches.

"How did it go?" Suho asks me. "I'll tell you about it on the ride home." I say to him and we both leave the SM building.

~~Time Skip~~

I just finished telling Suho everything. He hasn't interrupted me at all with everything that I said. I told him about my new contract with SM and the whole situation with Haneul.

"What do you think about this, oppa?" I ask him. "I'm just happy that you're doing something that you love and that you're safe again. I don't know what I would do if you were to get hurt again. I would never forgive myself." He says to me and I see a tear fall from his eye.

I gently lean my head on his shoulder. "It'll be okay, oppa. Nobody is going to allow her to hurt me. Not even the law." I say as we pull up yo EXO's dorm.
