Chapter 3: You can clean, we'll relax

Scarlett's POV

I wake up to the sound of pots being banged and a lot of yelling. "Is this what I have to deal with living with EXO?" I think to myself. I look to the side of me and I see that Kai isn't in bed. I guess he's already doing the chores.

I get out of bed and open the door to go to the bathroom across the hall. I knock in the door before entering. I open it to find Kris cleaning the shower.

"Good morning!" I say to him. "Good morning! Did you sleep well?" Kris asks me without looking up. "Ne, I did. What about you?" I reply. "Hmm...I guess it was pretty good. It's probably better than Chen and Kai's. They were the first one to be woken up at 4 in the morning." He says to me and I'm shocked. "Why that early?" I asked him. "It was an extra punishment for complaining." Kris says calmly. I nod my head and finish brushing my teeth and combing my hair.

I walk out of the bathroom and walk to the kitchen. I can see that Sehun and Tao are in the kitchen. "Good morning! What are you up to?" I say to them. "We're making breakfast. Then after this we have to wash the dishes and do laundry." Tao replies. Tao doesn't seem to mind the punishment but Segyn doesn't seem too happy.

"What are Kai and Chen doing then?" I ask. "Chen is suppose to clean the living room and Kai is going to vacuum all the rooms." Sehun answers. I kid my head at his response. "What are you guys making for breakfast anyway?" I ask them. "We're making French toast, eggs and muffins." Tao says excitedly. "Jinja? That sounds delicious!" I say excitedly. After I say that, I walk into the living room. Luhan, Lay, Chanyeol, Suho, D.O and Xiumin are sitting on the couches in the living room watching TV. Chen is walking around, cleaning the room.

"Good morning!" I say as soon as I see them. "Good morning!" All of them say back to me. "How are you doing?" Chanyeol asks me. "I'm doing pretty good. Thank you for letting me stay here." I say to him and the others. "It's nothing really. We enjoy you being here even though we don't know much about you." Suho says with a smile. "Jeongmal? Gotjimar!~" I say with a smile to Suho. "I'm being serious!" He says back to me. "Jinja? Kamsahmnida!" I say before going to hug him. Yeah, in case you haven't noticed, I'm a really friendly person. Sorry, if I'm hugging your 'oppa'.
"What are we going to do while they're cleaning?" I ask them. "Nothing, we just relax." Chanyeol says while putting his feet on the table. Just then, the door bell rings. "I'll go get it." Suho says while getting up. Once he opens the door, the dorm gets a little...crazy.
"SHINee sunbaes! You're here!" Luhan says politely. That kid is so sweet! I can't believe I'm calling him a kid when he's 3 years older than me. "Ne, we're here. We came to visit you guys while we're free." A really short guy says. Then, a guy with somewhat longish black hair looks at me. "Who's that girl?" He asks Suho. His voice isn't really that deep.

"Oh, let me introduce you guys to her. Her name is Scarlett and she's staying with us until she can find a place and continue on with her job." Suho explains and they nod their head. "Where are you from?" The guy that's dressed really nice asks me. "Denver, Colorado." I reply. "Jinja? Is it really cold there?" The short guy asks me. "Ne, I guess so. You get use to it after a while though." I say, trying not to get nervous. "Annyeonghaseyo sunbaes! You're just in time! Sehun and I just got done with breakfast!" Tao comes out from the kitchen and says this. Immediately, everybody goes to the living room to eat breakfast.

"Scarlett-ah?" Chanyeol asks in the middle of breakfast. "Ne?" I reply. "When do you know when you'll be starting your job?" He asks me. "Hmm...I'm not sure. My boss told me that I would get a call. I'm guessing it's going to be a while though before that happens." I say while continuing to eat. "What do you work as?" Key asks me. "I work for a photography company called 'Top Star'." I answer and he's shocked. "Jinja?! They take a lot of our photos for our comebacks." Key says to me and now I'm shocked. "Oh, jeongmal? I didn't know that. I started just a few months ago." I say to him. "That's cool! I guess as long as you're getting paid well, that's all that matters." Lay says while finishing his food. I nod at his answer since he's right.

~~Skip the rest of breakfast~~

"I wish that we can stay longer but we have a schedule to do now. Annyeong!" Onew says before leaving. SHINee oppas seem really nice. I want to meet up with them again.

"Alright boys, back to work!" Suho shouts and the members that have chores to do groan in unison.
