Chapter 23

They kissed, and they still couldn't believe it. Mikasa let out a small giggle with her face burning up a little. They held onto each other's hand as they are now finally able to express their love for each other.

Their friends who were just a few feet away from them looked at them with a shocked face. Especially Jean. Trying to calm him down, Marco just held his hands and looked at him in the eyes. Jean slightly gasped and softend his expression as he looks at Marco. Armin and Sasha on the other hand had a smirk plastered on their faces. They have known that the two are in love with each othe room the start. Now they can finally have peace, knowing that Eren and Mikasa will now stop ranting to them.

The song finished and the band left the stage and went on the area they were at earlier. Hanji had this big smile plastered amongst her face, not her usual smile this smile has something behind it. And it was admiration. As they played, she had her eyes on Levi. She missed hearing him sing. He had stopped ever since Erwin died... he felt lonely, he swore he will never sing again. Hanji understood this, but she knows how much Levi loves to sing, she just wants her friend to remember how much he enjoys singing. She admired him for being strong after all that happend to him. After all that he has been through. She wanted to be as strong as him... she stayed strong for him. After Moblit died cause of the house fire she had been feeling lost, she felt alone. "Oi, what are you smiling at?" He asked with his usual monotone voice.

"Oh! Nothing don't worry." She said laughing a little. Levi knew better not to make Hanji say it so he changes the topic.

"Aren't you gonna perform later?" He asked her, and she nodded her head. She then started to blabbering about it, then into another random topic.

Minutes after the kiss the two are now flustered as ever. Their friends have been teasing them. And they are a but embarrassed about it. They haven't spoken a word justcloving looks from one another. The two were left alone by the others who are now doing their own thing. They sat on one of the chairs together, with their hands intertwined.

"I guess we're together now." Eren said with a smile, he rubbed circles onto the back of her palm using his thumbs.

"Yeah we are. It's unbelievable actually."

"What's unbelievable?"

"I was able to find someone like you, I didn't even think that I would love someone like this."

"Really?" Mikasa nodded. She scooted closer to him and rested her head on his shoulders.

"I've been having dreams." He started.

"What kind of dreams?"

"Good ones, ones about my future... our future. We lived in a house deep far from society, we have a little girl named Carla. She looks like you but she has green eyes like mine."

"I love your green eyes, go on."

"There she would always beg me to stay, but the dream Mikasa would always tell me to go, she said if I stay there I won't be back here anymore... I'm gonna die." He said making his voice quieter in the end. She looked up to him and saw fear in his eyes. And hers has them too.
