After Eric had explained everything to the teen, Micah pushed himself out of his bed and began pacing the length of his room. His thumb was nestled between his teeth as he bit it out of nervous habit.

His wide mocha eyes locked onto Eric, "What about my dad?" He asked, "Is he okay? The kings won't kill him will they?"

"No," Eric shook his head, "No, they won't kill him. But, I'll be honest with you, he's not doing too good. He's turned to his whiskey and got fired from his job. He boarded up the windows and never leaves the house. The girls have tried going 'round but he never answers the door. I've tried calling, but he never picks up the phone."

Micah felt his bottom lip wobble, "I have to go talk to him," he went to leave the room, but Eric flashed in front of the door, "Eric, Move."

"No," Said Eric. "You can't just waltz over there after being dead for three weeks. You'll give him a heart attack."

"He's my dad," Micah growled as he tried to push his way past, "He needs to know I'm alive. I'm not dead, I haven't been for three weeks, so please just move."

"To him you have been!" Grabbing Micah by the arms, Eric led him to the bed where he then sat him down, "To everyone, you have been dead for nearly a month. You can just turn up all nonchalant. Your dad has been grieving your death."

"But I'm not dead!" Micah yelled, completely oblivious to the incoming storm, "I can't spend the rest of my life hiding from everyone."

Eric grabbed his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "And you won't. But we need to be strategic about this. Okay? We have to come up with a plan, we can't just walk you around town. Stop hovering by the door and just come in."

With frowned brows, Micah looked towards the bedroom door. With a soft creak, the door opened to reveal both Weber siblings, Jessica and Leah. All of them had there heads lowered towards the ground in shame.

Micah rolled his eyes, "Am I gonna get a hug or what?" He asked teasingly, putting the previous conversation on hold for the moment.

Angela and Arthur where the first to look up. Smiling, they both ran towards the teen and wrapped their arms around him. After a few moments, the pair pulled back. Suddenly Angela glared at her friend before giving him a sharp jab to his side, "Don't ever scare me like that again." Wrapping her arms around his neck, she pulled him in for a hug once more.

Smiling a small smile, Micah buried his head into her shoulder, holding her just as tightly as she shook was holding him, "I'll try my hardest not to."

After a few moments, the pair pulled apart. Looking over her shoulder, he saw Jessica looking at everything but him. Smiling, he walked over and pulled the short brunette into his arms, "It's okay. I forgive you."

That was all it took for the barrier to be released. Micah held onto her even tighter when he felt the slight damp feeling on his left shoulder. "I'm sorry," Jess mumbled broken-heartedly into his shoulder, "If I hadn't have said those horrible things, you would never have left early and Bella would never have gotten you. I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault," Said Micah with a tone of finality, "So don't you dare blame yourself. Your views where from one person's perspective. One person who hates vampires. It is not your fault."

After a few moments moments, the pair pulled away. Give Micah a timid smile, Jess walked back over to Leah, and nestled herself into her arms.

"I'm sorry you died," said Leah, "But I'm not going to apologise for telling Jessica the truth. She deserved to know what her 'Friend' was hiding from her."

Micah nodded his head in understanding, "I accept your apology. But let me make one thing clear, I will not stand for you putting thoughts into her head. Trying to destroy our friendship with your fucked up views was wrong. You know well enough that it was not my secret to tell, much like you can't go telling others about your own.

You might not like the Cullens, and that's fine. But they are my Mates and while I'm not talking to them, I will not stand here and let you slander them. Just because the vampires you kill are bad ones, doesn't mean they all are. So don't deem an entire race as disgusting leaches when you don't even know them."

Leah pursed her lips in anger, but still nodded her head all the same. She knew that if she did anything to hurt him, Jess would leave her in a heartbeat. She'd already been through that once, she refused to go through it again.

"Good," said Micah. Sitting down on his bed, he turned to the vampire in the room, "So, let's come up with a plan, shall we? Because I don't know about you, but I think I need a bit of fresh air."
