Charlie held Micah behind his back as he slowly walked them into the hall. His eyes where set hard as he glared at the three kings. His heart hurt at the action, but in that moment he chose to ignore it. His biggest priority was getting his son somewhere safe.

"Mr Swan, please sit down," Aro asked politely. But even a deaf man could hear the irritation lacing his tone. His brothers mate was so much worse than his own. Evie, a woman know for her over exaggerated theatrics, handled this so much better.

Granted, she did scream bloody murder, but at least she gave him the chance to explain. He knew he should have listened when she asked to come. As a human herself, she could have assured the man that everything was alright.

Charlie shook his head, his finger pointing warningly towards the vampires, "What do I deserve to know?" He asked before turning to his son, "Are they forcing you to do something? Are you threatening my son!"

Micah stepped forward and grabbed his dad before the man had the chance to advance on the kings. "It's not like that, I promise!" He said quickly, "I-It's not me they plan to hurt."

"Then who?" Charlie asked, turning to his son once more. "How do you even know them anyway? Did you meet them in Phoenix? Is that how they know you?"

"Let's sit down, shall we?" Micah asked rhetorically as he led the man back to the sofa. "So, to understand why they're here and why they plan to do what they are going to do, you need to understand the whole story."

Micah turned towards the kings, waiting for their approval before he started explaining about the Cullens. Once they nodded their heads, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"When we first moved here, me and Bella first saw the Cullens at lunch. Bella became obsessed. She wanted to be with all of them and have them treat her like a Queen. She didn't like the fact that they didn't spare her the time of day.

Instead, they went after me. Now I know how that sounds, so please just hear me out," he said, holding his hand up to prevent his dad from talking. "Upon meeting all of the male Cullens, I felt a strange sort of connection to them. And it just amplified with every encounter.

Do you remember when I was nearly crushed over a year ago and somehow I managed to walk away without a single scratch?" Charlie nodded, "That was because Edward saved my life. He was across the parking lot and he got to me so fast, it was impossible."

Charlie felt his eyes widen. Now it all made sense. Their abnormally pale skin that was cold to the touch and their golden yellow eyes. Something they all shared even though they where adopted. "The Cullens are vampires," he gasped.

"Yes," Micah nodded his head. "And I was their Mate. Just like you are Marcus's and Caius's. I am Edward's, Emmett's, Jasper's and Carlisle's. Some how Bella figured out what they where and started leaving threatening notes. I assume she got someone to do it while she was in prison.

Anyway, that's why she killed me. To get me out of the picture so that she could be with the Cullens and be beautiful and immortal for the rest of her life."

Charlie let out a deep breath as he lowered his head into his hands. "Wait, you said killed? But your not dead. You where in a coma for three weeks. The Doctors said so. It was their mistake!"

Micah shook his head while tears filled his eyes, "No dad. I died. I was dead until three days ago. Erik, you remember him? He took me out of the hospital and brought me back to the Webber house on a speculation. One that turned out to be true.

I'm not the son you remember. Not anymore. He died when Bella stabbed him in the middle of the street. I look like him, I sound like him, have the same memories as him and think like him but I'm not him. He was human, I'm not. Not anymore. But I'm not a vampire. Erik explained it as me being the Son of Gaea, the Goddess of Earth."

"I don't care," Charlie shook his head, "I don't care if your not human anymore. Your alive and that's all that matters and if you have to be some god like whatever it is, then so be it."

Micah had half a second to react before Charlie pulled him into a strong hug. "Now, you said that the Cullens are your Mates. Is that why you went the way you did when they left?"

Micah bit his lip as he nodded his head, "But it wasn't their fault!" He said with wide eyes as Charlie jumped up from his seat before heading to his cupboard that held his guns. "Bella threatened them, so they left."

"Your boy speaks nothing but the truth, Mr Swan." Said Marcus. "The Cullens came to our home in Italy and reported the crime. We instantly sent them home for Micah's well being. If Micah was bad with them just being gone, imagine how bad he'll be if you hurt them?"

That had Charlie putting his gun down before turning to his son. If hurting them meant he hurt his son then he wouldn't do it. "You still haven't explained why your here."

"That's the thing," Micah whispered, "When Bella killed me, she committed a crime. She broke one of the most sacred laws of the vampire kingdom. She killed a mated. To be a mated is such a rare thing that they are protected at all costs. Only special souls have one. Dad, the kings are here to kill Bella."
