Sitting in the back of the kings Bentley, Micah twisted his fingers nervously. The confidence he had previously held had slipped through his fingers as he clicked in his seatbelt. Now all he felt was fear.

He was nervous because he didn't know how they would react to him being alive. Would they be angry at him? Would they be happy to see him? Or would they simply slam the door in his face and demand he leave them alone.

Because technically he had died which meant the Mate bond should have broken but according to Marcus, it was the brightest he had ever seen. But just because it was brighter and stronger, didn't mean that they would actually talk to him.

"Maybe this isn't such a good idea," He mumbled quietly. "I mean, what if they've moved on. You said it yourself, I was dead for three weeks. Technically. Thats long enough for them to find someone else. And if that't the case, I don't want our 'Magnifacent Bond' to stand in the way of their happiness."

Turning away from his Mate, Caius blinked at the brunette teen. "How much do you know of Mates little one?" he asked with a raise of his perfectly manicured eyebrow.

"I know that you will feel attracted to them just by hearing they're name. I know that sometimes after a while your dreams can push you towards them. I know that they become very teritorial and do eveything they believe is right to keep you safe."

Caius let out a small sigh while rubbing his eye. "There is more to it than that. For starters, Once they have found their Mate, they can never get romantically involved with another, even if the Mate dies. As depressing as it sounds, once our Mate leaves us or decides they do not want us, we can never move on with another.

Second, when one is hurt, the other would become more protective and would do everything in their ability to make sure their mate is safe and unhurt. Some have been know to lock their mates away in fear of something bad happening to them."

Aro let out a loud sigh, "Will you ever let it go, Brother?" He asked tiredly, "My Mate has proven multiple times that locking her in the tower was unnecessary for she can look after herself as you have very well seen for yourself. Besides, she has tormented me enough for that little transgression. I do not need you to do it too."

Micah closed his eyes and shook his head, "I'm sorry," he apologised in confusion, "Are you saying that you locked your mate away in a tower? Is she secretly a Disney princess or something? Has she got really long blonde hair and an evil kidnapper step mum?"

Aro blinked monotonously, "Ha Ha Ha," he said dryly. "You are not a very funny person, Micah. Do you seriously believe that I have not heard that joke a thousand times?" His eyes drifted towards Caius who shrugged unfazed.

Micah turned his head towards the blonde, "You watch Disney?" He asked curiously, "Im going to take a wild guess and say by the state of your hair, your a large Rapunzel fan? Hence the rapunzel themed jokes you give your brother?"

Raising his brow, Caius looked towards the roof of the sky as if silently asking 'Why?' Before turning back to the young man. "No. If you must know, my favourite Disney film is sleeping beauty."

"Hmm," Micah hummed with a small pout of his lips, "I never would have guessed. For me it has to be The Lion King. Not only was the soundtrack amazing but it's just a brilliant film in general."

"Isn't that the one where the lion gets killed by his brother?" Aro asked in confusion, "Then said brother blames the dead Lions son of murder and tells him to disappear and to never come back?"

"Yep," Micah answered, "that's the one. Most tragic death in cinematic history. I don't think I can watch that scene without crying, it's just so heartbreaking. He tries to save his boy after the kid was tricked into the cavern only to get killed by his own brother."

Aro rolled his eyes. It seemed that Micah was just as bad as Caius. Possibly even Demetri. "It was just a cartoon lion. It was not real" he said with a huff.

Micah sucked in a loud and dramatic breath. "He was not just a lion!" He gasped in mock outrage. "How could you say that! That's like me saying that you are not the king of vampires but the king of fairies! You already sparkle!"

Not a sound was heard for a brief moment before the window that separated the drivers to the passengers opened. "Ooooooh, someone's in trouble!" Demetri called out teasingly. There was a sharp smack as Felix slapped the back of his head. "Ow!"

As the window was raised once more, everyone could hear the bickering of Felix and Demetri. The Greek vampire was yelling in mock rage at his friend for smacking him in front of the kings, the kings mate and their new prince. Leaning his head back in the seat, Micah laughed to himself.

Before anyone else could say anything, the mood turned somber as the car pulled to a stop outside the Cullen household. "You can do this, son. We will be right here if you need us. We won't go anywhere."

Giving his father a timid smile, Micah unclipped his seatbelt with shaky hands. Sucking in a deep breath,  he opened the door and stepped outside. Swallowing thickly, he closed the door with a soft click.

With his feet crunching against the gravel, the young man walked up the pristine white steps. Stopping in front of the door, he raised his hand and gave three sharp knocks. All was silent for a few minutes until the door was yanked open to reveal a very pissed looking blonde.
