Micah felt his heart thrumming erratically in his chest. His hands where clenched as he stared at silver fridge. "Do We have to do it this way?" He asked as he looked over at a grimacing Eric, "Can't you just use your voodoo mind gift and make them think I was in a coma or something?"

Eric pursed his lips while giving his shoulders a small shrug, "I could," he agreed with a small nod, "But then I would have to change the memories of the entire town and while I may be powerful, I'm not that strong. This is the safest option."

Micah felt his shoulders slump in defeat, "And why is this the safest option. All you've told me is that I have to climb in that thing, wait five minutes then start screaming. Why?"

Looking down at the teen, Eric gave him a look to say 'are you really that dense?' "Because no one came to claim your body. So technically, you'd still be down here. It's safer that way because believe it or not, it's would not be the first time someone was declared dead and then woke up in the morgue." He shrugged, "Plus it's less memories to change."

A loud huff was breathed out of Micah's nose, "I've been dead for three weeks, how was I supposed to know that no one claimed my body?" He asked dryly. Shaking his head, he nudged the vampires arm, "Let's just get this over with."

Closing his eyes, Micah walked towards one of the empty slots and opened the door. Pulling open the slab, he was quick to lay on top of it. "God, this is so shaming," he sighed before giving a small nod to Eric.

Smiling sympathetically, Eric pushed it back inside before closing the door. 'It Stinks in here,' he heard Micah mumble from inside. Shaking his head, Eric dashed out of the Mortuary and began looking for a Diener.

It had taken him about five minutes of avoiding Doctors and nurses before he finally found the person he was looking for. From behind the wall, Eric squinted his eyes in concentration and just like magic, the Diener began walking towards the Morgue.

Closing his eyes, he linked his mind with Micah's. 'Count to ten, then start screaming for help' he told him. Hearing a hum of acknowledgement, Eric cut off the connection and flashed outside to where the girls where waiting.

Micah kept his eyes closed as he laid in the cramped space. He wasn't claustrophobic by any means, but the fact that he was stuck next to people who had passed had his skin crawling with the need to get out.

Counting to ten in his head, Micah snapped his eyes open. "Hello!?" He called out, making his tone sound desperate and confused with a hint of fear, "Help!! Someone help me, please!!!"

Lifting his hands. Micah began punching the metal for a better affect. "HELP!!" Suddenly the door was opened and his slab was pulled out with such speed that it almost seamed inhuman.

"Oh my god!" The man gasped in shock. Running to the door, he quickly pushed his head out, "We need some help in here!" He yelled down the hall.

To try and make it seem more real, Micah rolled himself on to the floor and began pushing himself away with a frightened expression upon his face. He even added a few coughs ever few seconds.

It didn't take long before a handful of Doctors and Nurses rushed into the room. "Oh my God," the Doctor who had tried to save him, gasped, "Someone get the Chief on the phone now!"

Micah pretend to blink away the harsh rays of the light, "what's going on?" He asked with a wobbly voice, "Where am I? Where's my dad?"

"Micah, I need you to take a deep breath okay?" The Doctor said soothingly as he slowly approached the teen, "It's all very confusing, I know that, but it's okay. Everything is going to be okay, your safe now."

"My sister," Micah gasped, tears trickled out of his eyes, "She stabbed me, why did she do that! How did I get here, where is here! I just want to go home."

Everyone stared at the teen with sympathy. All of them thought that the teen believed that the stabbing only happened moments ago, not three weeks ago. But that's exactly what Micah wanted them to think.
