^Lilly's P.O.V.^
"C-Connor," I stuttered, pleading him to stop, but he kept walking.
It's your fault. You said he was only your friend. You don't deserve to cry, I told myself.
Yet, that didn't stop the lump in my throat from forming, as my heartbeat quickened to the point where I could hear it ringing in my ears.
"Well, now that they're gone. I'm going back to my office and you're going to call Josh," Father said, handing me the house phone.
My hands trembled and my lip quivered, as mom pulled me into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry, honey." My mom said. "I could see you liked him."
Nothing could stop the river of tears from flowing as I cried into my mother's shoulder.
She patted my back until I was all cried out, then walked up the stairs to meet Father.
I took in a slow, shaky breath, clutching the phone in my hands. I flipped the phone in my hands and punched in Josh's number. Surprisingly, it was already saved to the phone.
I punched the call button and put the phone to my ear. I held my breath as it rung.
After two rings, he answered.
"I won't say it again. I'll cut everything off if you don't bring her back. She is mine. You know that more than I do."
"J-Josh." I stuttered.
"Lilly?.." He asked.
My mind flickered to his words.
"What do you mean "I'll cut everything off if you don't-"
"-Well, that's isn't any of your damn business, now is it?" He snarled.
"You better watch who the hell you're talking to." I countered, angrily.
"So are you ready to come back to me or are you still busy whoring around with YouTube guy?"
"I'm never coming back to you."
"Ha. Keep thinking that. Soon you'll be crawling back into my arms."
"What do you mean by that?"
He coughed, "Nothing."
"Did you hire Lady bug?" I asked, bravely.
"What are you talking about?"
"Crazy man. The guy that kidnapped me."
"I wouldn't call it kidnapping since you willingly got into the cab."
"Well, that's because I thought- Wait! You did!"
"No, I didn't hire him. He just happened to get put in the position he's in."
"You need to tell me what the hell is going on. I'm done playing games with you. Why can't you just let me be happy?"
I heard his voice shift, and I knew we were done with the peaceful conversations.
"LISTEN HERE RIGHT NOW! The only happy you will ever be is with me. Not with that blonde bastard, do you hear me?!" He screamed. I flinched. "I'll prove that to you even if I have to lock you in my bedroom." I heard him trying to calming himself down. "Just wait until you come running to me." He laughed.
"Never," I stated.
"We'll see." He said, hanging up the phone.

Three hours later, I sat on my old bed, staring at the wall.
My room looked ghostly; like no one had been in here since I finished High School, most likely no one has.
