^Lilly's P.O.V.^
"I'm bored!" I whined.
"If one more word comes out of that hole under your nose, I will purposefully drive this car off a bridge." He glared.
That pretty much shut me up, so I sat up in my chair and placed my hands in my lap.
"Thank you." He commented.
A couple minutes later, ladybug started squirming in his seat.
"Are you okay?" I asked him.
"I'm fine!" He snapped.
"Okay, alright. No need to yell." I held my hands up in surrender.
He started bouncing his legs while driving.
"Does Ladybug need to use the big men's room?" I teased.
"No." He pouted.
"Well, I'm feeling a little thirsty." I said reaching into my purse and pulling out a water bottle.
His eyes widened in fear.
I twisted the cap off and tilted my head back.
I slowly poured the water into my mouth, while eyeing him carefully.
His legs were twitching, and his eyes kept switching between the water and the road before the cab came to a complete stop on the side of the road.
"I will only be a second. Don't. Move." He said with an underlying threat in his words.
I nodded.
He stepped out of the car and ran into the trees.
I quickly reached into the glove compartment for my phone.
I turned it on, while searching through the compartment.
I saw something glistening towards the back of the it and dug my hand through old napkins and receipts.
My hand closed on something cold and I retracted it.
Sitting in my palm was a small pocket knife.
I examined it before stuffing it into my hoodie pocket.
I quickly texted Jen.
I think Connor is coming for me. I'm okay for now. I don't know where we're going, but I don't know when I'll be back. Don't worry about me. Stay safe, I love you.
The message sent and I shut off the phone and shoved it back into the compartment, kicking the door shut.
I put my elbow on the armrest and put my chin in my hand.
Ladybug came back to the car and stared at me, suspiciously once again.
I shrugged at him and he got back in the car.
"Feel better?" I joked.
"Shut up!"
We ran a red light and he started driving down this long road.
Ladybug made a left turn and we drove into the airport parking lot.
I shot up in my seat.
"Why are we going to the airport?"
"I thought I told you to shut up."
"Why are we going to the airport?!" I screamed. "Let me out!" I said banging on the door.
Seconds later, I felt a strong stinging pain on the left side of my face and I swung into the cab door.
"I warned you." Was all he said.
