Chapter 30

^Connor's P.O.V.^

I hopped over the rock, with Lilly on my back, to firm ground.

I walked around the stream, back to the first entrance.

I hopped on the telescope rock and turned my head to Lilly.

"Do you know what we're standing on?" I asked her.

"A rock..." She said. "..I think." She added, unsure.

"Correct, but this is a special rock. Look straight ahead." I told her.

She looked straight ahead, but seemed confused.

"Yeah, the trees are lovely." She said, while scrunching up her face, in confusion.

'She's so beautiful...'

"I agree." I whispered to my brain.

I took my hand from under her leg that I was using to hold her up.

"Straight through there." I said, pointing to a small opening in the trees.

Her eyes widened.

"Ooh! I see it! But how?"

"Coincidence, I guess.."

I got down from the rock and started walking through the trees.

'We need to find the grey sock you wrote on last time'

"Be on the lookout for a grey sock." I said to Lilly.

"Okay.."

We looked around.

"There!" She yelled, spotting the sock.

She took the sock from the tree.

"Is this your sock?"

"Yeah, when I was making my way back home that day, I knew I might want to come back here, so it took about an hour to find the house, then I came back and wrote on this sock. Now, I know how to get back home when I come here." I said, turning the sock over to reveal writing.

"Two lefts and a right." I said.

We followed the directions and I carried Lilly back to the house.

We walked through the front door.

All we saw, when we stepped in the house, was Ricky dancing around to One Direction in his underwear.

"MY MOTHER TOLD ME I SHOULD GO AND GET SOME THERAPY!! I ASKED THE DOCTOR 'CAN YOU FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!' I DONT KNOW WHY I WANNA BE WITH EVERY GIRL I MEET!! I CAN'T CONTROL IT! YEAH, I KNOW- AHH! Hey guys.." He said, awkwardly, embarrassed, as he noticed us in the door way.

We couldn't hold it in our laughter. We laughed for five minutes straight, while Ricky's cheeks were on fire.

"We're gonna head upstairs. You can continue your indoor concert, now. Don't mind us!" I laughed.

I walked upstairs to my room with Lilly on my back, and closed the door behind us.

"Am I too heavy? You can put me down now if you'd like.." She said, concerned.

'Too heavy?! HAHAHAHA'

"Too heavy? Sweetheart, you're as light as a plastic bag." I said, soothingly.

I turned my head to Lilly, and my heart stopped.

The only thing that I think is hotter than her blushing, is her singing. Voice of an angel.

"I need to kiss you...now." I said, taking her from behind me and bringing her in front of me.

I lightly pinned her against the wall with our faces inches apart.
