"So, since this is basically a sleepover", Les starts, grabbing another slice of pizza, "let's tell each other secrets."
Jack, Davey, and Books looked at him. "Why?"
Les shrugged, turning back to the movie. Books stared at him. "What?"
"Why didn't you tell me you wear glasses?"
Les furrowed his brows and adjusted the frames. "Is it a problem?"
"Yes! You know why?"
"Why?"
"Because you look really adorable and my heart might explode out of my chest."
Les laughed and pat Books shoulder. "You'll survive."
Books scoffed and looked at his three friends. "I have a secret."
"What?"
"When I was three, Race and I were playing hide and seek near the fire station down the street from our old house."
"The one with the big tree?" Jack smiled remembering.
"Yeah. Anyway, we were playin' and I snuck into the station to find a place to hide, but I got caught. So the firewoman took me, gave me cookies, then sent me on my way. Race was crying when we went back home."
Davey's face confusion and concern. "...What?"
Books nodded and pulled out his phone. "Oh, hey! Check the chat."
