I forgot about this. Yeesh.
Sorry for the late update! I've been feeling a little unmotivated, and am working to get that back! You can't get motivated when there's nothing to be motivated for.

Davey did want to forgive Sarah.
He wasn't really mad at her, but he wasn't okay with her either. It was middle ground, like being friends with your ex-bully.
Not that Sarah is a bully, Davey thought, facing his bathroom mirror. But- whatever.
Jack had also been a little distant. And Davey had no idea why.
"It's like my life is falling apart", Davey muttered, sighing. "I'm probably being dramatic."
He didn't have work today, and he planned to make things better with Sarah. Maybe. Maybe not.
Les was at school, probably trying to get his mind off of everything. Davey didn't blame him.
Since he had nothing to do—and no one to remind him to eat breakfast over and over again—he walked out of his house anxiously, not exactly prepared for today.
But he did have a goal, and he was going to fulfill it.
Maybe.

Jack stayed at his house last night. He didn't want to.
But he had to distance himself from Davey. He doesn't know how he should feel.
Jack wants to love Davey, and he does love Davey, so why can't he say that?
You know exactly why, the back of his brain told him. You know exactly what she did to you.
He shook his head as he stared at the ceiling of his room, dazed. Crutchie was home, probably talking to Finch on the phone. He didn't want to bother them.
There's Blink, but he'd probably yell at Jack for overthinking.
Mush or Specs would immediately report back to Davey, and Albert can barely keep his mouth shut.
Race? Jack sat up on his bed, nodding. Race is good.
After shooting a quick text to the blonde, he was over within ten minutes. Jack's pretty sure he sped all the way across town, but Race claims he didn't, and if he did, Jack can't prove it.
"So", Race sighed, sitting on the bed with a blank Jack. "What's up?"
"How'd you tell Spot you loved him?"
"I just did, honestly", Race shrugged, furrowing his brows. "Why?"
Jack looked away, frustration in his eyes. "I don't know how to tell Davey that I's in love with him."
Race hummed, looking at his lap. He looked up at Jack cautiously. "Do you think-"
"I don't know!" Jack stood up suddenly, startling Race. He sighed and started to pace. "I ain't thought about...her in years."
"That don't mean she ain't messed you up", Race countered, an understanding look in his eyes. "You had to unlearn a lot of things."
"And I did", Jack huffed, crossing his arms. "That's why I started datin' Kath."
"No offense, dude, but your history with women is very sad."
Jack rolled his eyes and glared at the younger boy. Race put his hands up in surrender. "Whatever."
