I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS LOL

At school the next day, Les and Books had basically become the new IT couple. Apparently, everyone shipped them since Les came to school in November.

Wow, he thought, sitting next his boyfriend at lunch. It's really been almost three months since I've met them.

And almost seven months since The Incident.

It doesn't hurt as much anymore, and I guess that's thanks to my friends.

"Hey, Books", Snipe starts, drinking the juice out of his fruit cup. "Did you tell Albert yet?"

Les watched as Books began to blush, smiling at his nervous smile. "Not yet?"

"Your brother doesn't know?" Les was confused. Davey knew he had a crush on Books before Les knew he even saw Books in that way.

Given, this is Davey we're talking about. Davey knows everything. At least he likes to think he does.

"No", Books sighed, looking guilty. "I'm scared to tell him."

Les sat up straighter, concerned. "Why?"

"I don't want him to, like, hunt you down and kill you."

Snipe chuckled. "That's an understatement. He'd kill you, bring you back to life, break your legs, then kill you again."

Boots nodded. "That's true. I've seen him nearly do it."

Les' eyes widened. "He killed someone?!"

"Emotionally", Books says quickly, helping Les calm down. "I just don't want him to hurt you."

"He can't be that bad", Les says, looking at all of his friends. They all stared at him in silence. "Right?"

"You guys remember Steven?" Snipeshooter watched as Books and Boots nodded. He looked back at Les. "In fourth grade, he got a restraining order against Al because he scared him when he confessed to Books at Fall Fest."

Les was shocked to say the least. He still didn't think Albert DaSilva was that dangerous—I mean, he has a small fear of Spot Conlon—but he didn't want to be on the redhead's murder list.

He still hadn't had his first kiss yet!

"I, I don't think you have much to worry about, though", Books claimed, trying to sound comforting. "He's pretty much harmless."

Funny you say that after you tell me he'll murder me.

Les decided to stop thinking about it. He had more important things to worry about.

Like seeing if he had his head attached tomorrow morning.

Davey snapped another photo of a model, smiling when he looked at it. "That one was really good. Wanna take a break?"

"Sure", the model, Jason, shrugged, tying his hair up. "I haven't eaten anything since this morning."

Davey chuckled. "I didn't even eat breakfast."

"What?! How can you not eat breakfast? It's one of the best meals of the day!"

"I don't really wake up hungry", Davey shook his head, smiling. They stopped at the snack table. "My boyfriend would agree with you."

"Hey, since when did you have a boyfriend?" Jason smiled in excitement, biting into a bagel.

He was one of Davey's first friends at his new job. He could see the taller was nervous taking his first professional picture, and Jason made the whole experience better. Davey is forever grateful to him for that.
