"I'm really glad you asked me out", Bart chuckles, sitting before Sarah. "I-I definitely wouldn't have had the guts to do it. And I really like you, so..."Sarah raised a brow, a teasing smile on her lips. "You like me?"
Bart's eyes widened as his face flushed red. "I-I mean-"
Sarah giggled, patting his hand. "It's okay, hun. I like you, too."
Bart looked down as blush took over his entire face, his neck hot as a smile curled upon his lips. He'd say this is going well.
Very well.
Sarah is everything he could ask for in a girl. She was kind, funny, and actually paid attention to him. He didn't think Kam did that. Sarah seemed to be watching his every word as he spoke it. That was different.
A good different.
"So, uh", Bart cleared his throat, looking everywhere but Sarah's brown eyes. "I'm sorry the restaurant didn't work out. I didn't realize-"
"It's cool", Sarah chuckled, shaking her head. "I like this place much better. I don't think I've eaten here before."
To say the least, Bart was shocked. He'd never met anyone who hadn't eaten at, "Morgan's? Almost everyone I've met has been here."
"Almost?"
"Excluding you, of course."
"Well, what's the best thing to eat here, since you're so experienced?" Sarah laughed quietly as she grabbed a menu. "Milkshakes? Burgers?"
"The fries", Bart nodded. "Definitely the fries. I don't come down here a lot, and I wasn't there when this place was deemed the 'Newsies Headquaters' because I was away at school, but the fries are the best damn thing in New York City."
Sarah raised a brow. "Potatoes and salt really get your gears goin', huh?"
Bart shrugged, looking away. "That, and being on a date with you."
Sarah smiled softly. "That was cute."
Bart sighed in defeat. "Are you ever going to blush?"
"No", Sarah says sweetly, taking a sip of her milkshake.

Jack rolled his eyes. "You're delusional. RDJ is far better than-"
"Woah there, Cowboy", Davey says, looking at his boyfriend like he was crazy. "RDJ?"
"Oh, he's had a crush on the guy since 'Ironman' one came out", Roller laughs, shaking her head. "And then he figured out he was bi during 'Ironman 2' when Nat came on the screen."
"Why is you lyin'?" Jack sat up and looked at his cousin. "I ain't have a crush on RDJ."
"Uh, you did", Roller argued, crossing her arms. "You even cried when you found out he wears lifts."
"No, I didnt-"
"Wait", Les snickered. He found everything about the situation hilarious. "Brown hair, brown eyes, and tall is your type?"
"I don't have-"
"And that sounds exactly like", Books paused, connecting his boyfriend's thoughts, "your brother."
Roller and Les snickered as Davey turned to his boyfriend's own shocked face. "A type?"
"I ain't got a type", Jack stressed, shaking his head. "Besides, Dave's eyes is hazel with more brown than green and hints of blue."
