Guess who's backkkk.

I know it's been over a year since I last posted a one shot and IM SORRY. School and a bunch of other things got in the way and honestly I just had a major case of writers block. Even though I had some ideas and the beginnings of some one shots typed out, I didn't feel particularly good about any of them. But after seeing some comment asking for an updated, I pulled something together. Seeing as I'm a little rusty, this one shot may be a bit rushed or I'll-paced but best with me while I try to get back into it.

Also, thank you guys so much for over 94 thousand reads!! It's literally insane considering last time I posted we were at roughly half of that, so thank you so much for still reading and commenting despite my inactivity.

The long overdue shout out for last updates trivia questions goes to h0m0g0bl1n .

Anyway, I'd appreciate any ideas, concepts, or events you'd like to see me wrote out in order for me to keep posting consistently, so comment any below!!

Lastly, a little backstory, which maybe gives a little bit of insight into the question I asked y'all at the end of the last update:

THEY'RE ALL BUSINESS MAJORS OKAY??

OKAY. <3

***

"Alright, who did it?"

The questions rang clear and loud in the relatively small office space.

Most people, like Percy, were sitting at their desks with their attention on the computer in front of them, but they tore their gaze from the screens and looked up towards the back of the room, where the door to the break room was.

The person who had dropped the question was Leo, one of the IT interns that sat a couple desks. away from Percy. Leo was standing in the doorway of the break room door, his eyes scanning all the desks for something.

When no one else spoke up, Percy called out what was on everyone's mind "Who did what?"

"Who had the audacity to steal my lunch?" He placed his hands on his hips and scanned everyone's faces.

Percy and some of the other interns laughed, and some rolled their eyes. They had all gotten used to Leo and his antics over the last couple of months, including being overly dramatic at times.

There were only a handful of interns, all working for the summer before their next semester of college. There was Hazel and Piper, two girls in marketing who went to different schools but had immediately hit it off and sat across from each other at their desks. There was Leo, of course, who was always hyper, except when he was working, and even then his fingers flew across the keyboard, typing faster than any of the others could, which they discovered after a very intense typing competition. There was Jason, who was in the accounting department and was kind of intimidating in that he seemed to enjoy it. Other than that, he was a pretty cool dude.

And then there was -

"Are you sure you didn't already eat it and just forgot?" Someone else spoke up, barely glancing up. "Like last time?"

Annabeth.

Who unfortunately sat at the desk facing Percy's. Unfortunate, that was, for his productivity because he often found himself staring at her instead of focusing on the computer screen in front of him.

When Percy had introduced himself on the first day of their internship, her response had been, "Your tie is crooked," before she introduced herself as Annabeth Chase. He had been slightly embarrassed, but her nervous smile as they started talking told him she was only trying to be helpful.
