Hey guys!
So yesterday Rick announced that the Percy Jackson series is being turned into a live action series for Disney+ and I COULD NOT BE MORE EXCITED.
Like literally I almost cried hearing the news and I'm very hopeful that this won't be a fail.
Especially since Rick tweeted a picture of the cover page for what I'm pretty sure is the screen play for the show. With him writing it, I'm sure it'll be a way better adaptation that the movies and we, the fans, can finally, finally, get the adaptation we deserve.
So what do you think of the news? Comment and rant with me, I'd love to know your thoughts and theories. :)
In honor of that, here's a lil update. It's short, um, very short but I think it's cute and sweet so we'll see.
This a regular one shot, not au, set after the blood of Olympus and trials of Apollo, I guess.
Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH for 11 thousand reads, you guys are the best! Keep reading and commenting and voting!
If you guys have any requests PLEASE let me know, I'd like to have something to do while I ignore the studying I should be doing :)
This one shot is dedicated to Boss_of_the_World for commenting the correct answer to last update's trivia question. Keep it up y'all!

It times like this that Annabeth hated being dyslexic.
She and Percy had begged Sally to make her famous seven layer dip and she had agreed, as long as they made a quick grocery run for everything she'd need. And despite Sally trying her best to write everything clearly, no matter how hard Annabeth squinted and glared at the paper in her hands, the neatly handwritten words floated off the page and made her want to scream.
"Hey, can you-?" She looked over at Percy and her anger immediately dissolved.
He was leaning against a shopping cart, talking softly to Estelle, who giggled and kicked her legs in the baby seat of the cart.
Estelle was easily the cutest one year old Annabeth had ever seen. Her soft black hair and bright blue eyes were adorable and Annabeth loved seeing how gentle Percy was around her.
It didn't help her anger that Percy looked especially good today, wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt that made it extremely hard for her not to stare at his arms.
She watched in amazement at how he softly talked to his baby sister, tickling her side and laughing when she shrieked in joy.
"Gods, you're so cute." Percy gushed, reaching forward and pressing a kiss to Estelle's head.
Estelle giggled, showing off her dimples. "Perthy!"
He laughed. "Percy."
Annabeth smiled. "As much as I'd love to watch you two be cute all day, Sally's gonna be worried if we don't get back home soon with everything ."
He looked up at her sheepishly and nodded. "Okay, what do we need?"
"You tell me." She handed him the shopping list and played with Estelle's little pigtails.
Percy squinted at the paper. "Okay, um, sour cream... avocados, and... black bears?"
Annabeth thought about it. "Black beans."
"That makes more sense." Percy chuckled. "Okay, lead the way, Wise Girl.
So they spent the next few minutes walking down the grocery store aisles, checking things off their list and tossing them into their cart.
