Percabeth Oneshots

Hey, guys.

This one shot is a bit different to the rest, mainly because aside from focusing on Percabeth, it's also about a friendship that wasn't really mentioned much in the books, but I think would totally be possible and would explain a few things, mostly in TLO.

Shout out to Halfbloodkeeper for being the only one who answered the trivia question, and correctly at that, in the last post.

If you want a shout out in the next post, just answer the trivia question at the end of this post correctly.

So anyway let me know what you think of this one and if there's anything in particular you'd like to see me write because i have no life.

"I'm telling you, Annabeth! He's in love with you! Hey, wait up!" Silena Beauregard said as she tried to keep up with Annabeth.

Annabeth rolled her eyes, trying to hide her blush, "Sure he is."

She pushed open the door to Athena cabin and stepped inside, pretending to look for something on her desk so she could avoid this conversation.

Silena follower her inside the cabin and stood beside Annabeth's bunk. She frowned at the mess of papers and notes scattered around the bed and began to neatly gather the papers and make the bed. "Honestly, Annabeth, how can you not see it? Percy is head over heels for you!"

"We're best friends, Silena. That's all we are. Besides," she scowled, "he has Rachel Dare."

Silena grinned, "See? You're jealous. You like him, too!"

"Me? Jealous? Of some mortal? Absolutely not." Annabeth crossed her arms.

"Annabeth, have you seriously not noticed how he looks at you? The way he talks about you?" Silena asked incredulously. Surely someone so smart couldn't possibly be so oblivious. For as long as she had known Percy and Annabeth, she had sensed a deep attraction between the two of them. Now that she was positive they were perfect for each other, Silena had to make them realize it.

Annabeth was silent.

"Oh, come on, daughter of Athena!" Silena rolled her eyes, "Percy is always staring at you, and he glares at any guy within a 5 foot radius of you."

"No he doesn't. And if he does, it's just because we're best friends. That's it." Annabeth looked away, trying to hide her smile.

"Nuh-uh. That's not what Charlie says." Silena said smugly.

"Charlie? Charles Beckendorf? What does he have to with this?"

"He's friends with Percy. And he told me that Percy admitted that he likes you." Silena smiled.

Annabeth sighed, running her hand down her ponytail, "Ok, let's pretend he likes me, which he doesn't. And let's pretend I like him back, which I don't. What are we supposed to do? Drop everything, ignore the war at hand and what? Just get together?"

"Yes!" Silena gushed.

"No! We're on the brink of war. We can't just ignore that. Percy has more important things to worry about than a girlfriend right now."
