Hey ya'll.

So I decided it's about time I updated this so here I am.

It's kind of short and maybe not that well written considering I was half asleep and bored when I wrote this so yeah.

I've also decided to bring back my old pal the trivia question at the end of the chapter and the chapter dedications for whoever answers it correctly first so stay tuned for that.

And I've gotten so many comments about the questions being to easy so I'll try my best to make them super hard so as to not insult your immense PJO wisdom.

Percy couldn’t sleep. Which was weird because usually he passed out as soon as his head touched his pillow. Then again, usually he was going on dangerous, world-saving quests for the gods, running on little to no sleep at all.

Now that the Giant War was over, life was surprisingly calm. They hadn’t heard much from the gods, which they weren't sure was good or bad. They decided it was good, that they should at least try to live their lives normally, whatever that meant. Thing was, Percy couldn't really remember how things were before the demigod world.

The rest of the seven also felt it too. Without any wars to worry about or any monsters to fight, life was almost… boring.

Percy and Annabeth had stayed at Camp Half-Blood, at least until they decided it was time to go to college at Camp Jupiter, and they were inseparable, which came as no surprise to anyone. It wasn't surprising to find them sitting on the dock at the lake or Annabeth sneaking into the Poseidon cabin in the middle of the night. They had made it a habit to fall asleep together and early the next morning, Annabeth would sneak back into the Athena cabin just in time for breakfast. In doing so, they broke multiple Camp rules but after everything they had been through, no one bothered to stop them.

So there they were, lying in Percy’s bunk. Annabeth was facing away from Percy, her back pressed to his chest and his arm securely around her waist.  It was way past midnight, and even though they both yawned occasionally, they couldn't sleep, which would most likely result in a cranky Annabeth in the morning.

It was one of those nights, when they would lie awake until sunrise, simply staring at the ceiling, stealing kisses, and exchanging “I love you’s.” They would both wake up in the morning tired, but Percy didn't feel tired as he played with Annabeth's hair.

Annabeth yawned, rolling over so she was facing his chest and her head was in the crook of his neck, but he knew she wasn’t sleeping. Her eyelashes tickled his collarbone every time she blinked. She lazily ran her hand up and down his back, tracing circles on his old Achilles spot, making him shudder.

It was a comfortable silence, both of them thinking about anything and everything.

Then Percy blurted out, “Do you want to have kids?”

Annabeth’s hand stopped trailing up his back. She propped herself on her elbow and looked up at him curiously. He was blushing madly, but there was no way to take it back now.

“What?” she asked, a small smile on her face.

“I mean um…” he stammered, cursing his stupid ADHD.

But he couldn't pretend he didn’t think about… that. Even though Percy and Annabeth had only been dating for over a year now, it felt like so much longer. It was probably because they had known each other for so long and been best friends since then. They had been through a lot together. It was hard not to think about what they'd be doing years from now.

“Not right now, I mean, maybe like-” He started.

Annabeth laughed, amused at his sudden awkwardness, “I know what you mean, Percy.”
