Hey hey hey!
What's up my dudes? How's it going ?
What's that ? You're mad because I said was gonna update more consistently and then... I didn't ?
Well... I'm sorry.
So I've been really busy with school and stuff and I'm pretty stressed out so obviously I haven't had time to write anything. But it's late at night and I checked wattpad for the first time in a while and I saw that this has 46 THOUSAND READS?!
I was shook.
So I decided as a lil thank you I'd publish this extremely short, probably cringe, and cliche one shot I wrote a really long time ago, because, well... maybe some of you will like it.
I won't try to promise that I'll update more consistently, because aside from school, I'm having a hard time coming up with ideas for future oneshots so if you have a suggestion, lemme know and Ill try my best! I'll give you credit, of course.
Also quick shout out to: ihatepoetryfor commenting the correct answer to last update's trivia question!
Anyway here goes :)

"How could you be so stupid?" Annaberh yelled.
She was angry, to say the least.
The day had started out pretty normal. Having defeated the Titans in the battle of Manhattan, things at Camp Half-Blood were calm and relaxing, no longer filled with the dread of an inevitable war.
Percy and Annabeth had been dating for a little for a month now, and even though they were going to different schools in the city, they'd meet up at camp every chance they got, during breaks and weekends.
This was one of those weekends, and every cabin had been eating lunch in the mess hall when they heard a conch horn being blown, a sound they knew all too well, and the talking died down.
It turned out a pack of hell hounds had escaped from the woods, and everyone had scrambled for their weapons and ran to kill them off.
It was a surprisingly large pack, about a dozen or so, but the demigods had it under control. Until one snuck behind Annabeth Chase, that is.
She had sunk her dagger into the back of a hellhound and lept it's back, wiping the sweat of her brow. She squinted in the sun, watching as its body turned to shadows and her eyes scanned the grass, trying to find her knife again.
Percy turned to find her, sword in hand, and the blood drained from his face when he saw the beast ready to pounce behind her.
"Annabeth!" He yelled, breaking into a sprint. The beast growled and Annabeth whipped around, her dagger still somewhere in the grass behind her and she stood frozen in fear.
The hellhound pounced, and Annabeth had screwed her eyes shut, waiting for the impact. When it never came, she opened her eyes and saw Percy standing a few feet in front from her, a shadow seeping into the ground below him.
He rushed to her, grabbing her by the shoulders and scanning her face and body for any signs of injury. "Are you okay? Annabeth, you should really be more careful-"
"Yeah, I'm fine, but-" She blinked, snapping out of her shock, and nodded slowly, but the look in his eyes unsettled her. They were wide in surprise and he looked like he was the one who had just narrowly avoided death rather than her. "But you're not. What happened? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." He said, but she narrowed her eyes at him and he sighed, looking around them to see if anyone was listening.
All of the hellhounds had been killed except one or two, but they wouldn't last long with so many demigods against them. She wasn't sure how many people had seen her almost get killed, but she didn't care at the moment.
