Hey.
It's been a while. But I'm back.
So some people seemed to have liked the mortal meets demigod one shot I did a few chapters back so I thought I'd try with a different scenario. As always, if you have an idea you'd have me write or write with me, my PMs are always open!
ALSO has anyone else read the Tyrant's Tomb? I finished it and it was pretty good. What do yall think of it??
Shout out to ValC27 for getting the last question correct!

"And this," Connor Stoll gestured at the huge structure in front of them, "is the arena, where you'll be trained to survive monster attacks during dangerous, world-saving quests or a normal day at school."
Brynn took it all in. The arena was at least two stories tall, and its shape reminded her of the Roman Coliseum ruins she had seen in a magazine once. Inside, a group of about twenty demigods were split into partners and were sparring. Some used swords and daggers, while others fought with spears. Despite seeing teenagers fighting with lethal weapons and standing amidst other mythological beings in a camp that shouldn't exist, Brynn still had trouble believing it was real. She felt like any minute now she would wake up in her bed at home and laugh about the crazy dream she had with her mom over a bowl of Lucky Charms.
Up until last week, Brynn had led a normal life with her mom in the city. In the course of the next few days, she had been attacked by monsters that seemed to have jumped out of her sixth grade mythology textbooks. It hadn't been fun, and Brynn had been scared out of her wits until she found - she still couldn't believe it - a satyr who had gotten her to Camp Half-Blood. There, it was explained to her that her dad, whom her mom had told her was dead, was actually alive. And that wasn't even the best part. No, he was a god, and now Brynn's life would never be the same.
It didn't hit her that she really was a demigod until this moment, seeing teenagers, who were also like her, training with lethal weapons to avoid being killed by monsters.
Among the pairs, a guy casually weaved through them, occasionally ducking and dodging a sword or dagger. He seemed unphased by the violent sparring, yelling out comments on a person's technique. Brynn couldn't make out his face clearly in the distance, but she could tell he was tall and lean, with black hair. When he spotted Brynn and her tour guides near the entrance, he began walking closer. It was only when he approached their trio that she could properly see him.
The first thing she noticed about him were his eyes, a color stuck on the color wheel somewhere between green and blue. His dark hair was tousled perfectly and his friendly grin made her ears feel warm.
"Hey, guys," The guy greeted them, turning to her "I'm Percy Jackson. You must be Brynn, right? Daughter of Apollo?"
Brynn nodded, confused. "How did you know?"
Travis answered instead, "Word travels pretty quickly here. Speaking of, Percy, when she crossed the border into camp, she was fighting off an empousa. Can you believe that?"
Percy whistled appreciatively and looked at her up and down. Brynn's face turned pink at the thought of him checking her out. She hoped he didn't have a girlfriend.
"That's pretty impressive. Those things are really dangerous, Brynn." He said.
The way her name rolled off his tongue made her want him to say it again and again. She blushed again. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her two tour guides lean over and whisper in each others' ears, clearly excited. When she turned to look at them they stood up straight and smiled innocently at her.
