This is basically a one-shot after the last olympian but before the lost hero of what would happen between Percy and Annabeth in that time.

The only thing that registered in Percy's mind at that moment were Annabeth's hands buried in his hair and her lips on his, kissing him like she had waited her whole life for this, which wasn't far off.
Percy's hands shyly slipped down her waist and rested on her hips, pulling her as close as possible. The air bubble around them seemed to be holding up, but with Annabeth kissing him the way she was, Percy was seriously having a hard time focusing to keep it up.
Their lips moved perfectly in sync. Annabeth marveled at how soft his lips were and how salty they tasted. She wasn't sure how long the kiss lasted, but when it stopped, she was breathless. He pulled her close enough so their foreheads touched, close enough so their lips brushed if she lifted her chin up. She looked at him and wondered how she had never noticed how long and dark his eyelashes were or how green his eyes were.
He grinned at her, breathless, "Wow."
Annabeth stifled a laugh, "Yeah."
"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that," he chuckled.
"Well," Annabeth wrapped her arms around his neck, "You could do it again."
"Eager, are we?" Percy smirked.
Annabeth rolled her eyes and brought her lips to his. Percy eagerly responded, kissing her back. She smiled against his lips, slipping one of her hands under his shirt and and touching the small of his back. Percy felt a thousand volts of electricity arc through his body. He pulled away, gasping.
He pouted, "That's not fair."
Annabeth laughed, "Sorry, Percy."
He sighed dramatically, sliding down the side of the air bubble, and sitting down. He looked up at her and patted the space next to him.
She raised an eyebrow, "Is it safe?"
Percy shrugged, "It should hold."
She sat next to him, "So..."
Percy scratched the back of his neck, his cheeks turning red, "Yeah, um... Look, Annabeth, I like you, okay? A lot, actually. I just didn't say anything because... I didn't think you felt the same way, and I didn't want to ruin our friendship. Then the stuff with Rachel and Calypso happened, and I... "
"Only you, Percy Jackson," she muttered under breath.
Percy looked confused, "What?"
"Percy, honestly? I've liked you since... I can't even remember. I thought I made it pretty clear so when you started seeing Rachel and almost went on vacation with her, I got mad and I thought... " she trailed off, shrugging.
"Really?"
She rolled her eyes, "It was obvious to everyone but you, you idiot."
He gently grabbed her hand, holding it in his and said, "You know, when I was in the Styx, I lost control of myself and my soul almost dissolved. But then... I heard your voice and suddenly I was in this lake and I had fallen out of a canoe. You were there at the dock, you told me a I was an idiot and you helped me up and... you saved me."
He looked over at her, "You're what made me want to stay mortal, Annabeth."
Annabeth smiled softly, "Me?"
"Yeah, you," He gave her a lopsided smile. "Now what?"
She smirked, "Your move, Jackson."
"Well," he turned his body towards her, leaning in until their lips brushed, "My move would be to make you my girlfriend."
