Yo.
It's me again, and it's once again 3 in the morning. You know what that means: another update!
I've been trying to keep my promise and update regularly and I know I said I had the second part of this one shot away written but I read it over and realized it was kind of meh, so I took a few days to revise and make it the most decent it could be so here we go.
I also realized that the tittle didn't really make sense in the first half, but it will in this part.
Shout out to p2e7rc4a0beth for commenting the correct answer on last chapter's trivia question. Your guys' knowledge knows no bounds.
Thank you guys for 9k reads and for all the sweet comments you leave, you guys make my day :)
As always, I take requests so if you have an idea, shoot! I'll give you credit, of course.
Enjoy 🥳

They exited through the back door.
There were still people running out of the house trying to avoid the cops. After all, most of them were underage and had been drinking.
They ran down the lawn together and Annabeth spoke up. "Where's your car?"
"Down the street." Percy said. His nose was still bleeding a bit, but he didn't seem to mind.
He pointed to it when they were close enough and he let go of her hand to get his keys out. He unlocked the car, opened the door for her and then ran to the driver's side.
Once they were both inside, they sat in silence for a few seconds, catching their breath. Despite the cup of vodka she'd had, the fight and running from the cops had sobered her quickly.
"Where to?" He asked, starting the car.
Annabeth thought about it. "Can we go to your house?" She tried to hide the blush in her cheeks. "The least I can do is clean you up. My dad doesn't care if I sleep at a friends house, but if he saw me bring in a boy in the middle of the night..."
"Okay" He laughed then winced.
"Do you need anything?" She looked over at him and her brow furrowed. His nose and lip were bleeding, and his jaw was starting to bruise.
"It looks worse than it is." He said. "There's tissues in the back seat, can you-?"
She nodded, turning around and reaching over to grab the cardboard box.
She handed it to him and he grabbed a few. "Thanks."
They sat in silence as Percy drove down the street and they both processed what had just happened.
Were things between her and Luke really over? She had chosen to leave with Percy and told Luke they were done, hadn't she?
Annabeth had always thought if they ever broke up, it would be one of the worst days of her life, but she all felt was relief and anger. He didn't even let her explain what was going on. His words still stung and she couldn't believe he thought so little of her. It was as if he didn't even know her, and really, she wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.
For months now, they had been falling apart. They refused to acknowledge it, letting the tension between them build up and act like nothing was wrong even after heated arguments.. Their once perfect and enviable relationship was gone. The last few months had been the most miserable of her life. Luke was suffocating her. The only breaths of fresh air she seemed to get were when she was around Percy.
