SUMMARY: Bexley James's mother hasn't left her house in years after a traumatizing incident. Financially struggling to pay the bills for their small, rundown house on The Cut, Bexley drops out of school to work full time at Ward Cameron's dive shop. She was never social enough to make friends, but she eventually finds one in the form of reckless pogue, JJ Maybank.
