"Fuck, Bexley..."

Rafe breathed heavily, letting his mouth drag across the nape of her neck. Bexley let out a low, pleased exhale.

He kissed down her collarbone, gently nipping at her skin, giving her goosebumps.

"R-Rafe, come on," she said. "You-You have to go..."

His hot tongue hit her skin, moving it from the middle of her collarbone, up her neck, all the way to her jaw.

"Rafe-"

He kissed her, deeply. Bexley swooned. Honestly, she wanted to stay like this forever. But she couldn't.

Bexley placed her hands on his chest, pushing him away.

"You have to go before my mom wakes up," she whispered. "She almost caught you in my room the other day, remember? We can't let her know you're sleeping in here."

"She probably already knows," he tried to say. His voice a low mumble. "How could she not?"

"Rafe..." she groaned. He did not want to leave, she could tell. They were in her bed, and he was on top of her. And he did not want to get off.

"She does not know, because if she did she would-" She cut herself off with a low gasp as Rate sucked on her earlobe. She caught her breath, and shoved him off. "She'd freak out, Rafe."

Finally getting off of her, he let out a low laugh.

Bexley watched her boyfriend as he sat up, grabbing his shoes and putting them on.

The boat party took place four days ago. The day after had been tense. She didn't know why, but Rafe's actions had given her an eery feeling. He had been very...possessive at the party. If that was the right word for it.

But, honestly, if those pogues hadn't come up and started pressing his buttons, she never would have had that argument with him. If Kiara hadn't gotten in her head, and made her feel the need to take her dress off at the party, Rafe never would have said she was acting like a 'slut'.

And...that's what worried her.

The word 'slut' was cruel, and Bexley never thought her boyfriend would say it to her. So it raised the question, what other harsh things was Rafe willing to say to her that she had no idea about?

It was scary, because when they were alone things were so nice. The days after the party, when he came over to her house, and they'd swim but the dock, or watch television, he was so sweet with her. He was his best self when he was alone with her.

But she didn't want to always be alone. She wanted to go to another party again, because she actually did have some fun. And she wanted to hang out with his friends, or make friends of her own. She felt normal at the party, and it just reminded her how much she hated having to drop out of school, and secluding herself to work and home. She liked people. She wanted friends.
