despite her excruciating headache having to introduce her to her day, chia woke up extra early. youngho did not sleep at all. the amount of coffee-stained foam cups stacked all together on his study table said it all.

he also already prepared her hangover soup which she found even more delicious than her mother's; michelin restaurants could never. she couldn't tell him face to face though. it did not feel like such a good day to boost a man's ego.

over the table, as she ate and he scrolled through whatever, they struck a conversation about him going back to class later that day. what she focused on the most was possible accidental meetings between him and his landlord once he goes out.

"then i get caught. and pull out my paypal. up to him if he accepts it." the man shrugged. "he's not jesus. no need for me to get super scared."

the woman was not convinced by his unbothered aura. "you didn't say that when you first ran here."

"he's not jesus," she shot with a tone of mockery, making him chuckle.
