"So what are you going to Abby," Emma asked me. As soon as I got home I told Emma, Jessica and Derik everything after I changed into my own clothes of course. Jessica and Derik have been staying at the house I guess to help Emma find me.

"I have no idea. I guess I should have done the right thing and stayed longer to figure it out," I said. I guess from the other night Derik hadn't remembered much that had happened after he got thrown but Emma said some guy was there helping as they got to him.

"So, from everything that is happening to you, from you being cold to the touch, you said he pushed on a sharp tooth in your mouth like a fang and a drop of his blood fell in your mouth," Emma paused for a minute. "And you liked it. And he was talking to you about hunting to feed. Abby, what if your a vampire." She exclaimed.

"That's the oddest thing to think of. If I was don't you guys think I would be going crazy and wanting to suck your guy's blood," they all looked at me and pushed their chairs back a little. We were sitting in the kitchen because Emma was cooking but wanted to be part of the conversation. "Come on guys." I tried again but they all seemed a little nervous now.

"I guess we'll find out sooner than later," Jessica said. The oven dinged and Emma ran over to it and using oven mitts pulled out a lasagna. The smell of it hit my nose and it smelled amazing, Emma had always been a good cook, one of the few things she picked up from her mom.

She scooped a spoonful on four plates and handed each of us one. "This smells amazing Em," I said taking a bite not caring about if it was gonna be too hot. It was so good and so flavorful. I swallowed and went to take a second bite but before I knew it I was rushing to the bathroom needing to throw up. Emma came rushing in and held my hair back for me. After I sat on the floor in the bathroom and sobbed. I tried crying but no actual tears came.

"Abby, are you okay," Emma asked rubbing my back.

"No, I'm not. Why is this happening to me? And why can't I even eat," I sobbed harder.

"Maybe it's true Abby," she said. "Maybe you are a vampire." I just looked at her and rolled my eyes. "Okay, fine. Let's go watch movies or something until it's time for bed to help distract you." We got up and I headed to the living room grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and sat down while Emma grabbed the others. Derik sat next to me and Emma put on Jurassic park.

Once the movie was over it was about two in the morning and the three of them were ready for bed. Not me though but I lied and headed up to my room. Jessica was staying in the spare room and Derik had taken the couch. The rest of the night i stayed up and researched everything about vampires. As much as I didn't wanna believe I think Emma could be right.

I finally started getting tired and looked out the window to notice the sun was beginning to rise. Before I knew it sleep had took me and I was out.
**********
I woke up and immediately felt like someone was watching me. I opened my eyes and there was Derik sitting beside me on my bed. I sat up, "What are you doing," I asked him. He definitely was a cute guy with his big hazel eyes and short messy brunette hair. I always wonder still why he's always had a crush on me.

"I just came to check on you. You must have been pretty tired, you've slept all day." He said pointing out the window showing that it was now night time.

"What time is it," I asked him.

"It's eight thirty," he said looking into my eyes but I wasn't falling for his little staring match he always tried doing with me. I got up out of bed.

"What am I supposed to do about work," I asked him. I worked at the bank and they are not very forgiving about people missing time.

"Emma took care of it, but I have no idea what's going to happen now since you seem to sleep during the day.

"Ugh," I exclaimed. "I'm gonna take a shower and think about what to do." I told him and he left my room.

After my shower I headed downstairs to make myself a coffee. I took my first sip hoping it wasn't gonna come back up like the food did yesterday thankfully it didn't. At least I can drink things I guess. Just then I heard the door bell ring. I was about to check who it was when Emma yelled that she got it. I heard the front door open then a few moments after it closed.

Emma came into the kitchen holding a letter. She handed it to me. "It has your name it." She told me. I looked at it for a moment before opening it. It was a pretty envelope with my name spelled out in cursive. I opened the letter and was about to read it before Emma interrupted me. "Read it out loud," she said.

"Abigail Taylor,
I heard you met my little friends the other night, thankfully to that retched vampire boy who saved you, you're not dead, just undead.
When you receive my next letter be sure to follow every direction that is stated.
Im watching you - Ambrosia"

"Well then," Emma said. "I guess it's true. You are a vampire."

"If it's true though, don't you think that I would be crazy trying to suck everyone's blood," I said confused with everything.

"I have no idea, did that guy tell you anything yesterday," she asked.

"No, but I'm not gonna worry about any of this right now," I told her. "I gotta figure what I'm gonna do about my job."

"I can call the bank tomorrow and see if they can do anything with like customer service for nights maybe," she said trying to make me feel better.

"Go ahead and try I guess. I'm gonna start looking around at night time jobs," so job searching it was. I never thought I would ever be in the predicament but here I am, trying to make the best out of it I guess.
