"Well I guess it's true," William said as we were walking away from the mausoleum. From what it looked like, no one noticed we left so hopefully we were safe.

"What's true," I asked him completely puzzled.

"The prophesy," he said like I should have known what he was talking about.

"Care to explain," I asked still very confused. We now reached his truck and he opened and held the passenger side door and motioned for me to get in. "Um, where are we going and what about my car?"

"You're car is all taken care of thanks to Cassius. Also if you want to learn about the prophesy and what you are, then we need to go to a safe place away from here," he said still holding the door. I didn't say anything and just got in, he closed the door, went around the truck and got into the drivers seat and started driving.

It was a pretty quite ride as neither of us were talking much. I was still shook up from what happened and William looked like his was in a deep thought. He definitely was an attractive guy, tall, he had to have been a least six foot with broad shoulders, big hands, sharp facial features. Just then he catches me staring at him. "Are you alright," he asked me.

"Of course I am," I told him, "Why wouldn't I be?"

"You just look worried," he said with concern in his voice, "a lot has happened to you in just a short week,"

"Eh, what can I say. I guess I'm just one tough cookie," I joked and that put a small smile on his face. I look up as he was pulling into a long driveway, the same one I left just a few days ago. As we pulled up to the garage the door slowly opened and he pulled right in and shut off the engine. Before I could even take my seatbelt off William was already out of the truck and opening my door. "Thank you, but you don't have to open my door for me," I told him.

"I do not have to, but I want to," he said closing the door once I got out. He then lead the way into this beautiful house. I followed him into the living room and he motioned for me to take a seat on the sofa. I sit down and he sits in the chair across from me.

"So, were those gunshots in the mausoleum part of your plan," I asked.

"It was actually Cassius' plan. I told him I needed to get you out of there and he came up with a distraction plan," he said looking smug. " Abigail, may I ask you a few questions?" He sat forward in his chair.

"I suppose, also you can call me Abby," I told him.

"Alright, I suppose my first question is how have you felt since you woken after being attacked," he asked like he was playing twenty questions.

"I feel fine, I guess this is the best I've felt in a long time," I told him, "The only issues I've been having is that I've been really thirsty, but it's nothing I haven't been able to handle." As I told him about my thirst he looked at me in complete surprise.

"Abigail, have you fed since you've woken," he asked slowly.

"No, I mean I tried eating but it made me throw up immediately," he was looking at me like I had two heads. "I guess I don't understand what you mean by feeding."

"Abigail, you're a vampire. You need to consume blood," he said slowly. "Vampires are actually supposed to feed everyday. The fact that you woke up almost a week ago and still have not fed could help explain why you are so special."

"Do you know who your parents were," Cassius said making me jump, I didn't even know he was standing in the doorway. He then fully comes into the room and takes a seat in the chair next to William.

"I didn't know my parents, my grandmother told me they both died in a car accident when I was two," I told them remembering the stories my grandmother would tell me. Once they passed away I had to live with my grandmother.

"Do you know anything about them, from stories or pictures," William asked sympathetically.

"All I was told was that my mother worked at a daycare and my fathers work was I guess secret," I said getting kinda uncomfortable talking about my dead parents," my grandmother didn't know, I guess my mother didn't even know. My grandmother said he was very privet with everything."

"That's kind of odd," Cassius said looking to William.

"Abigail, we will figure out what is going on," William said to me. "It is getting close to sunrise and because ambrosia's people are probably searching for you, I feel it's best if you stay with us for now," he stood up and held out his hand to me. "Let me show you to the guest bedroom." I took his hand and followed him.

He opened the door to the guest room and we walked in. "Thank you, how much longer is there till the sun comes up," I asked him.

"Just a couple more minutes I would presume with the time being close to six," he told me looking a little confused.

"Okay, may I ask you a question," I asked him.

"Of course, what is it," before I could ask my question the world started to get dark and I knew the sun must have rose.
