I woke up at seven thirty three today. I guess I just wake up once the sun sets. It was Saturday now and the job searching hasn't been going very well. The only places hiring at night are mostly factories, machine shops, or convenient stores. I could handle the factories and machine shops, but I refuse to work overnights at convenient stores around here. Thankfully Jessica said she could stay with us and help out till I can find something.
Once I was ready for my day, I guess night, I made my way down to the kitchen to make a coffee. Since the incident happened I haven't had to eat or use the bathroom and I've been sleeping from sunrise to sunset even if it's twelve hours long or longer. When I woke up today though I noticed I was abnormally more thirsty than normal, I drank a whole bottle of water as soon as I woken but it didn't help with anything. It's definitely annoying but manageable.
Just then Emma came into the kitchen. "Good morning sunshine, or should I say good evening miss undead," she joked as she took a seat at the table.
"Ha ha, you're funny," I said sitting down across from her with my coffee. She laughed while I gave her a smile.
"How's your thirst, is it getting worse," she asked curiously.
"It has gotten a bit worse but nothing I can't handle," I told her taking a sip of my coffee.
"And nothing is helping it either," she asked pointing at my coffee.
"Nope, nothing. It tastes good, but that's all it's doing for me," I said. Just then the doorbell chimed and Emma got up for the door. A moment later I heard the door open and a couple seconds after it closed. Emma came back into the room holding another letter.
"It's for you again," she said nervously handing me the letter. I took it from her and opened it. I read it aloud so she knew what it said.
"Abigail Taylor,
I hope you are doing well and hope the thirst isn't driving you to eat your friends. Anywho, tonight at midnight come to graveyard on north street.
We need to have a celebration for your transformation. Remember to follow all instructions on my letters or else you will be punished.
Cannot wait to see you- Ambrosia""You're not going," Emma exclaimed giving me a worrisome look.
"I'm afraid I have to. I don't want to risk anyone getting hurt," I told her. For all I know if I didn't show up I didn't need him hurting me, but most importantly I didn't need him hurting one of my friends.
"Abby," Emma said sternly. "I don't trust it. What if he tries to hurt you or something."
"Emma, I'll be okay. I promise," I told her as calmly as I could. I looked at the clock and it was already ten.

It was now eleven thirty and I was getting ready to head to the graveyard. This is such a clique thing to be doing, meeting so called vampires at midnight in a spooky graveyard. I really hope this is just some stupid young kids trying to be funny, but my gut feeling was telling me the opposite.I was getting ready to head out of the door when Derik stepped in front of me blocking me from leaving. "Derik, what are you doing," I asked him giving him the you don't scare me look.
"You can't go Abby," he said sternly. "You're going to get hurt."
"I appreciate you wanting to protect me, but I'll be okay," I told him. "Plus I don't need something to happen if I don't go." That last part seemed to make him want to move.
"What's going to happen," he asked curiously. I could see the concern and worry all over his face.
"That's the thing, I have no idea, but I don't want or need them hurting me or you guys."
"Ugh, fine," he said taking a deep breath stepping away from the door. "You better be extremely careful and call me if you need help."
"I'll be just fine," I said. "I promise." He nodded at me as I was closing the door behind me. Once I got in my car I started it and headed to north street.
As I came up to the graveyard I parked on the grass on the side of the road, let's hope I don't get a ticket for parking here, and started walking. This place was one of the biggest graveyards in Claremont and I didn't see a single person here. I just reached where the graves started and before I knew it out of nowhere someone puts a cloth bag over my head and was covering my mouth with their big nasty hand.
I tried to fight and scream but it was no use, the man was much stronger than I was. "I wouldn't be struggling like that pretty lady," the guy said in a hoarse voice. His voice sounded familiar but from where. The way he said pretty lady. Then realization took over me. This is the guy from the costume store. Why him though? I tried to fight back more but it was still no use.
He finally took his hand off my mouth to mess with something in front of us and then I heard the sound of a rusty hinge being opened and next thing I know I'm being dragged down a flight of stairs. Behind us it sounded like a big door slammed closed. "Where are you taking me," I screamed.
"Oh hush it. The sire will like you more if you didn't talk," the costume store guy said still dragging me along. Just then I heard a murmur of people as we got farther into this pit that must have been a mausoleum. "Here you are, sire." He said pushing me away from him and taking the bag off my head. I slowly blinked and looked around. It was brightly lit with candles and the walls and floor were made of dirt and stone. I looked around at the people that were staring at me. Everyone looked pale and hungry besides two people.
The first guy was average height and was balding. He looked pale like the rest but definitely didn't look like he needed to eat, as he was a heavier set guy with a round belly. The second guy was hiding in the back so it was kind of hard to see him, but he poked his head around the person he was standing behind and he looked familiar. He looked like that guy that saved me last week.
"Welcome Abigail Taylor, it is definitely a pleasure to finally meet you." The pale guy that was balding said taking a step in front of me.
"Right, definitely a pleasure," I said sarcastically, everyone in the room gasped. "You know, this is the worst clique."
"We have a lot to talk about before we can feed, now Abigail please listen," he said. "You are very special and very unique. You're abilities are stronger than any fledging who has just woken. This is why I am accepting you in and you are becoming one of mine, and with your special ability we can take over the vampire kingdom."
"That sounds nice and all, but I think you have the wrong girl. I'm no one special. But I should probably get back to my normal boring life," I said.
"You do not have say anymore, you belong to me.," the guy said loudly making everyone in the room on edge, besides me, I just chuckled a little. "Oh, you think this is funny," he said eye balling me which made me start to laugh.
"Well, I said still laughing. " this has all been fun but I do got to get back home and feed my cat." I said taking a step towards to exit only to have it be blocked by two very enormous men. "Oh well hello there boys. Can you believe this guy, saying I belong to him." Just then one of the guys, the taller one of the two, grabs me by the arm and drags me back to where the asshole was. "Hey, what are you-"
He then pushes me on the cold ground in front of baldy. "No one gets away that easily," he said kneeling down towards me. He grabs ahold of my cheeks and I try to pull away but his grip is too strong. "You are going to be a good girl and listen to me." He whispered to me, his breath reeked. Just then suddenly there was a gunshot noise and one of the females screamed. Baldy let go of me to check the issue and I got up immediately. Then there was another shot and someone else screamed in pain. After the third shot everyone broke out in panic.
"Come on," I heard someone say behind me. I turned and there was William, the guy who saved me the other night, saving me once again. He held out his hand and I took it and followed him out of the mausoleum while everyone was distracted by the gunshots.
