I woke up and slowly blinked as I lit up my phone to check the time, seven forty-six it read. It must be getting darker out sooner. The room was dark and kinda creepy with all the lights off. I got up and turned the light on and decided to take a shower. Once I was done I did my hair and makeup. I put on black leggings, a cute blue striped sweater and my uggs. I wanted some tea or coffee so I went to find the kitchen.
Once I found it I walked in and there was William sitting at the table in the middle of the room. "Good evening Abigail, I see you are still alive," he said with a smile putting down the newspaper he was reading. "You look lovely this evening," he added.
"Thank you," I said smiling. "Where do you keep things for coffee or tea," I asked him.
He pointed to a keurig coffee maker sitting in the corner on the counter. "You have your choice of every thing in the drawer below it," he told me. I walked over to the drawer and opened it. There was at least ten different types of coffee and about six or seven different teas. I picked a blueberry tea and was about to ask where the cups were when William came up behind me with one in his hand.
"Thank you," I smiled at him. "It's like you read my mind."
"Anything for you," he said sitting back down and picking up the newspaper again. I made my tea and sat down across from him. William looked kinda nervous, his hair was a little messy instead of it looking taken care of, and I noticed he was tapping his foot on the floor which I haven't seen him do before.
"So, what do you have planned for today," I asked him as he put the newspaper down again.
"Well, for you, you are going to be doing some reading," he said. "Cassius and I are going to be spying on ambrosia."
"Why can't I come with you guys and do the reading later," I asked with a small smile.
He smiled at me, "I would love to have you come Abigail, but it is to dangerous right now. If ambrosia happens to see you there, who knows what could happen," he said with concern. "I cannot let anything bad happen to you."
"Alright," I said taking a sip of my tea. "When are you guys leaving."
"As soon as Cassius returns home," he said standing up. "Let me go grab you the books I need you to read," he said walking out the room. I sat there sipping my tea waiting for him to return. About two minutes later William returned to the kitchen placing five old looking books on the table.
I started looking at the books, 'how to be a vampire', 'how to hunt like a vampire', 'encyclopedia of vampires', 'Vampires 101', and 'Vampires 2.0'. "How long is this supposed to take me," I asked looking up at William.
"You do not have to read everything in each book, as about fifty percent of the things in them do not apply to you," he said opening 'vampires 101'. "See, this chapter is explaining how vampires cannot go into sunlight. So, you can skip over sections like that."
"Oh good," Cassius said walking into the kitchen and seeing all the books on the table, "give her a reason to stay longer,"
William glared at him, "this is going to help prepare her," he said to him seeming a little annoyed.
"I do not care, are you ready," Cassius asked sounding pissed off.
"Yes, I will be outside in a minute," William said annoyed. Cassius didn't say anything as he left the room. I looked up at William who didn't look very happy.
"Are you alright," I asked him sweetly.
He looked down at me and smiled. "I will be fine, Cassius is just mad I am spending more time with you than I am with him,"
"I can go back home if he wishes," I told him.
"No, I would like you to stay, so I know you are safe," he said and I smiled at him. "Just try not to let him bother you,"
"Alright, well better get going before he gets more upset," I told him. He nodded and left the room. Now it was just me, the books and my tea.

Williams Point. Of. ViewWe were driving over to ambrosia's house and it has been a pretty quite ride so far, I was driving and Cassius was in the passenger seat. I hated leaving Abigail at the house, but it was not safe to have her come. I looked over at Cassius who I noticed was looking at me. "Is something wrong," I asked him.
"No," he said harshly. "I just thought we were supposed to be helping this girl, not falling in love with her," he said coldly.
"We are helping her," I told him focusing on the road.
"But you are more focused on her. You haven't done anything without talking about her all week," he said. I suppose he is not wrong. I have been focused on Abigail quite a bit, but I have just been trying to help her.
"I apologize," I told him, "I will admit she has been in my head a lot through out this week." I admitted.
"It's fine, just try focusing on what we have to do please," Cassius asked and I just nodded. The rest of the way to ambrosia's was quite.
We arrived at his house but we parked down the road a way so that no one would hear us coming. We got out of the car and started walking the rest of the way to the house. As we approached it, bad memories started to fill my head. Looking at this house made me remember when I was part of ambrosia's clan. I am thankful to be out and alive today, but the memories still eat at me.
Cassius and I both knew this house all to well, I helped save him to get out of here as well. We headed to the basement door which was surprisingly locked. Cassius held up his hand to me and showed me the lock picker he brought. He was always the one to count on in any situation. Moments later the door was unlocked and we entered into the house through the basement.
As we walked farther into the house we could hear footsteps coming from above us, they were in the meeting room. We slowly made our way to the basement stairs and Cassius went first. I followed him up the narrow steps that lead to the entryway of the house. He cracked open the door just enough to check if anyone was close, thankfully we were in the clear. I closed the door behind me and we carefully walked towards the meeting room.
We approached the arch way to the meeting room and hid outside the room still in ear shot to hear what was going on.
"Fledglings," I heard ambrosia's voice boom throughout the room. "We now have less than two weeks to prepare for the chosen one's arrival. If she does not come willingly, we will have to take action and bring her back alive." That's not going to happen I thought to myself.
Ambrosia continued talking, "if we cannot get her, her father will be extremely disappointed, in all of us. You guys will all have to be on alert when the time comes. Do not let Chernobog be disappointed." I felt someone tap my shoulder and turned around to see Cassius motioning me to follow him. He must have got all the information we needed that quickly.
We left the house the same way we entered and headed back to the truck. Once we got in I started the engine and we were heading home.
