It was finally Saturday night. The last few days were boring but William said it would help. I trained for five hours every night once we got back from feeding. William told me I could have tonight to do what I wanted, so Emma and I are going to watch a movie, then something else after. I finished getting ready and headed downstairs. I went to head to the garage and felt someone grab my arm and pulled me to them.

Before I could say anything or resist, they planted a kiss to my lips, and I immediately knew it was William. The way his lips locked with mine, so gentle yet so intense. Like in romance movies, I felt sparks when we kissed. He finally pulled away but kept me close. "I hope you have fun tonight," he said softly.

"I hope so too, this whole week has just been way to chaotic," I said with a little laugh.

"One more week and this should all be over," he said, I wanted to believe it but if I was supposedly destined to be queen or something, I had my speculations that stressful weeks were bound to happen.

"I hope you're right," I told him. "I should probably get going before Emma thinks I'm not coming," I laughed.

"Alright, please be safe," William said before giving me another sweet intense kiss. After I headed to the garage and got into my car. Thankfully the other day I was able to grab mine. I started the engine and headed to go get Emma.

I pulled up to the house and headed inside. We still had about an hour before we were going to see the movie. As soon as I walked through the door I could hear Emma and Derik arguing in the kitchen. I quietly made my way to the archway, but stayed out of sight so they didn't see me; I wanted to know what they were arguing about.

"He's probably just using her to take over the vampires," I heard Derik say.

"Why would he be falling in love with her then. I saw the way he looks at her. He cares about her a lot." Emma said.

"How do you know. This guy just comes out of no where and here's Abby now, a vampire and half demon?" Derik added.

"Abby's mentioned the prophesy, it was foretold. You're just jealous that William is winning Abby over and you can't." Emma was saying. "You've been trying since middle school and she's never even given you a chance." To Derik, Emma must have sounded mean, but she was just telling the truth. Before they could argue anymore I stepped into the room.

"Hey guys," I said causally. "What are you guys talking about?"

"Nothing," Derik said quickly.

"You're here early," Emma said coming over to me to give me a hug.

"Sorry, I just wanted to get out of vampire central sooner than later," I laughed. "Williams friends are staying there till all this is over and one of them hates me for some reason."

"Who hates you?" Derik asked.

"Her names Victoria, one of the other girls, Tina said she doesn't like me cause she has liked William forever and is jealous of me," I said with a little giggle.

"Well," Emma laughed. "Her and Derik are in the same boat." She said pointing to Derik who sulked in the corner.

"Anyway," I said trying to change the subject. "I know you like to watch the previews, so you ready to head down there?" I asked her.

"Yes, oh and Derik wants to come too," she said. I looked over at Derik who looked pretty upset.

"Alright, I don't care who goes, I just want to have a good time." I told them. "Honestly I just wanna do something normal, not something that's vampire related."

"Yeah! Of course. Oh! I know something we can do instead of going to the movies," Emma said with enthusiasm. "Hannah and Kendall are throwing a party tonight. How about we go?"

"Sure, why not." I said. I still hated parties but it will bring back good times, as long as it's not like the last party. Emma seemed excited and grabbed her coat. When her and Derik were ready we headed out to my car.
**********
Once we got to the party we made our way inside. There was loud music and quite a bit of people roaming around and dancing. "Let's go get drinks," Emma said leading the way. I just nodded and followed her. We found the table of drinks and Emma hands me a pineapple Malibu splash and hands Derik a twisted tea, for herself she grabbed a truly hard seltzer.

We drank our drinks and talked with people we went to high school and college with. It was really nice catching up with everyone. "So, have you finally given Derik the chance he's been waiting for?" Hannah asked. Hannah was a girl Emma and I have known since middle school. She was your average white girl with bleached blond hair and blue eyes.

"No I haven't," I admitted. "I just have never felt that way about him."

"No, she's got another man trying to win her over though," Emma butted in.

"Oh really?" Hannah asked. I was known in school as the girl that didn't need anyone, so letting anyone get close was not very normal for me. "Who is this guy?" She asked.

"Here's a picture of them together," Emma said taking her phone out and showing Hannah a picture. I looked at her and looked at the phone. It was a picture of William and I sitting on the sofa after the whole Raven thing the other night. She must have waited for the perfect moment. The picture was of William pushing a strand of hair out of my face. "Look at how they're looking at each other, it's so cute."

"Awe, what's his name, and where did you find him?" Hannah asked gushing.

"His names William, we met, I guess you could say the woods," I said with a little laugh.

"Abby was attacked a few weeks ago and William saved her." Emma told her.

"Why didn't you bring him here tonight?" Why didn't I? Hmm maybe because he's a vampire and probably hates things like this.

"He's a very busy guy." I said honestly. At least that wasn't a lie.

"Well we're doing a party again next weekend, you guys should come and bring William." Hannah said.

"I would love to, but I'm going to be very busy next weekend." I said truthfully.

Emma looked at me, "busy doing what?" She asked with confusion in her look.

Well killing a five hundred year old vampire and taking over the vampire nation. I thought but said, "William and I are having a date night." I lied. "Well Hannah, it was nice catching up with you, but it's getting late and we should get heading." I said grabbing Emma's arm.

"What are you doing? I don't wanna leave yet." Emma said with saddened words.

"You know what I'm doing next week," I told her. "And please don't bring up William here, also when did you take that picture?" I asked.

"I took it the other day, you guys looked really cute, so I took it. I forgot to send it to you," she said taking out her phone and sending me the picture. "Also I don't remember what your doing." She added.

"Vampires, vampire nation," I whispered to her trying not to be loud.

"Oh right, that's next week. I forgot," she admitted. I just nodded and for the next twenty minutes we walked around looking for Derik. Finally we found him, he was playing darts with the jocks we went to school with.

"You ready?" I asked Derik who looked disappointed.

"Just let me finish this round," he said pointing to the dart board. So, for another twenty minutes we waited on him. Finally he was done and we could finally leave. All I could think about the rest of the night was what was going to happen next weekend.
