Once I arrived at Williams I parked his car back in the garage and shut off the engine. Before I could get out, the car door opened making me jump and there was William standing there waiting to help me out of the car. "Don't do that," I said startled.
"I just wanted to help a pretty lady out," he said smirking taking my hand and helping me out of the car. He closed the driver side door and went to the passenger side and grabbed my bag for me.
"Oh, you don't have to do that," I told him reaching for my bag.
"I insist," he said "let me show you to your room," he said taking my hand in his free hand and we headed upstairs. It was the same room I've stayed in every time I've been here.
"So, how long do you plan on keeping me here," I joked as he set my bag on the bed.
"You can stay here as long as you would like," he said stepping closer to me. "You know I do not believe your little friend there."
"What do you mean," I asked. He was now standing right in front of me, his dark eyes gazing into my green ones. He must have took a quick shower before I got here. His hair was messy and still a little wet and he was wearing a white t-shirt with sweatpants. He smelled really good as well.
"He was putting you down, saying lies," he said pushing a strand on my hair behind my ear. "Please do not believe him, Abigail. I have only known you for about a week now, but you are perfect in your own way." I didn't know what to say, so I just stared back at him smiling. "You are beautiful, strong, smart, and of course stubborn," he laughed a little.
"I don't know why you're being so sweet," I said softly. "But I do appreciate it," I said. Before I could say more, he gently pulled me to him and kissed me. It was a soft, gentle kiss. It felt like the ones you see in romance movies. Just then we heard someone clear their throat at the door, which ruined the moment. I pulled away from William, cheeks red with embarrassment, and looked to see Cassius standing there.
"Seems like you two have been pretty busy figuring out why she's the chosen one," he said crossing his arms over his chest. "I will be down in the living room waiting," he walked out the door not looking too happy. I turned to William who was grinning from ear to ear. I smiled and shook my head at him.
"Let's go," I told him grabbing his hand to lead him downstairs, but he pushed past me holding my hand in his so I had to follow him.

The three of us were sitting in the living room, Cassius was in one of the chairs and William insisted on sitting next to me on the sofa. Cassius wanted to know about everything he missed today, so I told him about the time my father worked. I also told him about my little deadline ambrosia gave me."I really think your father has something to do with this," Cassius told me.
"How so," I asked.
"I don't know quite yet but I'm going to find out soon," he said looking at William. Since we've come downstairs he hasn't seemed like he's really been part of the conversation. "Do you have anything you want to add," he said to William.
He snapped back to realization before speaking. "How do you plan to find out more information," William asked.
"By spying," Cassius said causally. "I'm going to find a way to sneak into ambrosia's house and figure out what he's planning."
"Should I call the others to help us when it's time," William asked sitting up a little.
"That should be best," he said thinking. "The more hands during the fight, the easier we win." He looked at William, then to me, and back to William. "You might want to inform her about what her job during this is supposed to be. Since she's the chosen one." I looked at William who seemed a little hesitant.
He scratched the back of his head and positioned himself to be able to look at me better. "Abigail, with everything that is going to happen in the couple of weeks we have to prepare, there is mainly only one thing you really have to do. At the end of all of this, you have to be the one to kill ambrosia," he said calmly.
"So, I need to be the one to kill him," I said out loud.
"It's the only way to follow the prophesy," Cassius said harshly. "If someone else does it, it could screw everything up."
"Alright," I said slowly. "I can do that," I tried to encourage myself. I looked up at the grandfather clock in the room as it stuck five o'clock, the five bongs that came out from it were drowned out from my thoughts.
"Abigail, it is nearly sunrise, you should be heading up to bed," William said standing up. I noticed Cassius roll his eyes and got up and left the room. William was standing in front of me and held out his hand for me to take.
I took his hand, stood up, and followed him up the stairs. We made it into the bedroom and I slumped down on the edge of the bed. William sat down next to me. "What is wrong," he asked softly.
"I just didn't know this was going to be part of everything," I said glumly. "I can't even kill a little bug without wanting to cry," I said.
"Abigail," William said lightly grabbing my check so I was looking at him. "You are strong and you are brave. Just think about it as your killing the bad guy to help save thousands of people."
"But then what am I going to do about the thousands of people I will have to rule after," I said getting overwhelmed. "I just don't know if I can do it, I still think you have the wrong girl."
"No, you are the right one. I know it Abigail," he said. "I want to try a little experiment, this is one of the rooms that get the most sunlight. As you can see there is extra curtains in this room for that reason. I want to keep the curtains open while you sleep, to prove to yourself that you are the chosen one."
"Alright," I said "we probably don't have much more time till the sun rises," I told him.
"Okay, I will open the curtains while you change. The bathroom is right there," he said pointing to a slightly opened door in the corner of the room. I grabbed my bag and headed to the bathroom. Once I was done I went back into the bedroom and William had all the curtains opened. I set my bag down on the floor beside the bed. "Alright, you are all set to go to bed," he said.
He walked over to me slowly and pushed a loose strand of hair behind my ear. He kissed me on the cheek and took a step back. "Sleep well Abigail," he said and walked out of the bedroom. I got into bed and not long after I noticed it was getting brighter outside. Another couple minutes went by and finally my eyes got heavy and everything went dark.
