Tshiamo woke Motheo to talk to him about her work trip. It's somewhat weird that both their companies' have offices, clients or shareholders in the Western Cape.
She explained what would happen and how long she'll be gone and the reasons why. They had a small conversation about it and he told her about the casual dinner he wants to throw for Tiego. After their talk, she made her way to the gym.Motheo left work early to prepare for his intended dinner. He invited a few people to join them. Bought some finger food, snacks and some booze. It was going to be an intimate session aimed at ensuring that everyone relaxed. It was phuza Thursday anyway.
Once he was done, he called Tiego to find out how far he was.
"Stalking me already?" Tiego asked when he answered. "Hey don't flatter yourself buddy, I was calling to offer you a ride from the airport. Motheo said." Oh okay, well I already got a rental car but thanks for the offer. Tiego said.It was for the best. He wanted to have his own movement. Being with Motheo alone in an enclosed place might tempt him to bring up the Tshidi issue. He opted for having the choice to leave whenever he felt like it.
He went to his house and Tiego started at his parents house before going to Motheo's.

"knock knock" Tiego said walking in his parents' house. His parents were sitting in the lounge discussing on how they will make everything work on Saturday.
They were planning on having a small gathering for their lose family and friends and some neighbors.Tiego was welcomed warmly by both his mom and dad. He was planning on sleeping over at his parents house throughout the weekend. After he greeted his parents, he went to fetch his bags and went to put them in his room.
"So, how have you been?". He asked as he walked back to them.
"ugh, we've been well". His father answered. "I thought you would be bringing Tshidi and Tshego...Where are they?" He looked at Tiego with a concerned face."Papa, it's a long story and I don't even have the full version of the mess I'm in at the moment". Tiego said. He was tired of covering his emotions and be silent about what he thought.
"What?..... Is there something wrong at home?. What mess are you talking about?...What happened between the both of you? His father asked. He always wanted to be there for his kids, especially if they are going through troubled times. And at this point he could tell that his son was not happy.
"well, Tshidi and I are basically on the verge of a divorce-" He couldn't even finish his sentence when his mom stopped him. "Don't you dare Tiego!...You know we don't believe in divorce. You need to work what ever it is that you're going through. Divorce is never the answer!". His mother said. She was upset.
"Mom". Tiego said in a calm voice. "Tshidi is cheating on me. She's been doing it for years and the worse part is that one of the men she's with or been with is someone I know". He didn't want to give it away.
His parents were speechless. His dad felt very sad for his son. As good a person Tiego is, he does not deserve to be treated like this.
They both took a deep breath and just gave him sympathetic looks."I'm sorry my boy. Let's just say that it'll pass". His father said. He felt sad for his son. Tiego was too good of a person. Yet bad things tend to happen to him over and over.
"Don't worry about it dad. I'll be fine". He said with a smile. "I have a mini dinner to attend to. Motheo invited me". His tone was just lazy.
"Bathong, you don't seem excited.... Why?. You could use some time with your friend". His mom said.He shook his head and gave her a smile. "okay mom. I'll see you all later.
With that, he gave her a kiss on the cheek and then left for Motheo's place.*****
Tshidi was at their house. She decided to have a quiet weekend. She took Tshego to her sister's place, got herself a bottle of wine and went home with the intention of indulging. When she got there, the first thing she did was take her shoes off. From there. She took a glass, put the wine in an ice bucket to keep it chilled and went to sit in the lounge.
She let her thoughts run away with her. She thought of how her life was wasted. How she wished things were different and that looking at where things are, everything has just gotten out of hand. She has allowed herself to get sucked in a dark while. And all that was because she chose to put love first.
She put someone else before herself and at this very moment, she was paying the price for that decision and the sad part was that her daughter also suffered for her mother's choices.
She did not feel like seeing anyone. Locked herself in and just went to bed.
******
When Tiego got to Motheo's house,
It was a whole set up. He had ensured that everything was great. The food was ready, drinks were set and the music was good. A few people were there. Some he knew and others he didn't."Heeey, the man of the moment is finally here!. Motheo said excitedly. Tiego smiled and gave him a hug." I thought it was just going to be the two of us, but this is better". He laughed.
They walked to the back yard and started with their chill session. A while later as they were there, three women walked in with Motheo. Tiego knew from right then that this won't be good, but he just wanted to wait and see what he was on to.
He introduced the ladies to Tiego going on and on about how he's his best friend. They had a light conversation as Tiego was abit of an introvert, he didn't really care who these ladies were. He went to be with the guys and they had their drinks.
Tshiamo walked in after work. She knocked off abit late because she had to prepare for her up coming meetings. When she walked in she saw Tiego in the kitchen getting a drink.
"Hello". She said to him with a smile.
He turned. "Hey". He said walking towards her and gave her a hug. She didn't protest and man did he smell good. "How are you?" he asked her after he pulled away. "Pretty good. I see you're good too". She said.
"I am actually" He answered her. She smiled at him. There wasn't more to say, so she told him that she was going to greet the people outside and with that they went out.Motheo was having a good time and for a moment he had forgotten that his wife would be back home soon. "Hi" Tshiamo said walking towards him. She greeted everyone else and gave Motheo a kiss. He walked her back in the house and was back in less than a minute. You'd swear that he threw this gathering for himself.
The night went and the drinks flowed. Voices were louder by the minute and so was the music. At this time, some of the people had left and the three ladies were still there with two other guys. Tiego's phone rang, so he went to answer it in the house.
It was his mom on the phone and she just wanted to know when he'd be coming home. As he spoke to his mom, Tshiamo came down stairs and went to the kitchen. She seemed a little annoyed. She was tired from the long day she had, she had to wake up early the next morning and people are here in her house making a noise. Uhg.
Tiego said his goodbyes to his mom and walked to the kitchen. "Can't sleep?" He asked her. "Nope". She replied.
"Sorry. I think we're just about done. I'm going to leave now in fact. Let me go tell you're man".He said.
"I'll come with you"she followed him. When Tiego walked out, he was met by a sight that was not meant for Tshiamo's eyes. He turned back." let's go back in the kitchen. I.... Uhm, I want to show you something". He blocked her way. She could see that something was off.
"why?" She wasn't having any of that. For some reason she had a feeling of knowing what's happening, or at least she had an idea.
She smiled. "Get out of my way". She said.He did not want to make angrier than she already seemed to be so he got out of the way.
"Motheo!" she screamed, the minute she got out back and saw what was going on.
"In my fucking house!!! She was furious.******
