Tiego and Tshiamo slept through the night even though they hadn't planned on spending the night together. They both felt that it was right, it felt right.

He woke up to Tshiamo's face. She slept soundly after the workout they had last night. He didn't want to wake her but he had to because of his appointment with his parents. He had planned on spending the night there but we all know plans always change.

It was 7am. "Tshiamo" He said whispering sofly in her ear. "mhm" She was still enjoying her sleep. She opened her eyes and looked at him. "What's wrong" She thought him looking at her like that was somewhat weird.

"Nothing...I thought we'd have breakfast before we head out" He said. "okay...are we leaving now?" She asked as she sat up. "Hey... Where are you going?" Tiego was surprised at how ready she was to leave. "I mean, we're not in a hurry....are we?" He asked her.

"Tiego, you said we're leaving now. And I'm tired so I think I'll probably skip breakfast and just go home". She told him. "Okay, how about I leave you here to get as much rest or sleep you want and I'll come back later". He suggested with hope.

She looked at him, not sure on how to respond but she wasn't keen on driving. "Okay, I'll stay" She said and then we back in the sheets. Tiego smilled at her. He liked how comfortable she was getting. She wore one of his shirts and it looked good on her. It made him think differently as he stared at her. To leave or not leave, he thought in his mind.

He didn't even wait to continue with the conversation and went inside the house to join his mother as she sat in the lounge watching TV.

"Mama" He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Hello my baby". She is always happy to see her son. "you know, when you said you were coming to talk to us I was expecting you to come with tshidi to announce that we might be getting a new member in our family".

She loved her grandchildren and wanted more than one from Tiego and to possibly raise them but it was just unfortunate that she never got to do that with Tshego.

"No Ma" He chuckled. "I'm sorry but I'm not here with good news. Let me go and call dad, I just want to get this over and done with". He said and went back outside.
His mother was left there confused.

When the two gentlemen walked, she stood up. "Tiego, what's going on?". She asked. "Mom, please sit." He replied and she just sat back down without another word.

"I am here to talk to the both of you about things that just seem to have just been the cause of how my life has turned out. Uhm... I honestly don't know what is true anymore because things might unravel even more" He said and looked at his dad. His situation brings a bad heartache to him.

His parents remained quiet, waiting for him to proceed. "I found out about something that happened in the past and I wanted to address it because we need to get to the truth one way or another".He said.

His father asked him what he's talking about. "Dad, you had an affair and now the person I grew up knowing as my best friend claims to be your son" He looked his dad straight in the eye.

"What?.... Tiego, what is this nonsense that you're talking about?" His mother asked she was both shocked and angry. How could Tiego make such assumptions about his own father?. In such a nonchalant way no less. She didn't understand nor want to believe any of it.

"where's all this coming from?" she asked. Tiego then explained how he got the news, he told them all he knew including his personal ordeal with Tshidi and Motheo including the divorce he wants but he left out his recent fling with Tshiamo.

"okay... I might have had some moments of weakness in our marriage but in all honesty, no matter what would happen and you mother would tell you, I'd never abandon my own child." He said.

"My wife... Your mother, knows everything there is to know about me. Her and I don't have or keep secrets from each other" He said looking at Tiego's mother.

"Yeah well, this time you did not do as your saying... I mean if this person is your child then it will mean that you have made mom a fool for believing that you have told her the truth all this time" Tiego was disappointed in his father.

"Mommy, this happened when we had separated. It was before you came to me and informed me that you were pregnant with Tiego. Yes.. I had an affair but, truth is, it wasn't with just her. I was in a bad place at that point in my life, so I made alot of bad decisions".He said.

"I cleaned up my mess, fixed things with my wife and worked hard for all of you all these years. I havent cheated since that awful time and your mother knows that. He finished.

Tiego looked at his father and he couldn't believe the confidence he has in himself that he isn't nervous or worried. He found that weird.

"Listen son, if you want us to lay this to rest I'll go for a DNA test and then we'll take things from there" He said.
"And what if the results come out positive"? Tiego asked.

"Then I'll take responsibility, I may not be able to take back all the years I've lost if he is indeed my son. I'll just do my best to acknowledge him." He answered honestly. Tiego knew his father was a noble man, very proud and hard working man. Most importantly, his blood came first at all times and if it turna out that Motheo is his blood, he would do everything to bring him close.

"I'll see if I can arrange a meeting with him and his mother so that we can just clear this mess. I want control over my own life and the decision I make." Tiego finished.

The mood was just tense so he decided to leave. He drove back to the ranch and when he walked in he was welcomed by a warm house that smelled devine. Just what he needed.
