Tiego was woken up by a call at 5am and was not given a chance to say his greeting. "Hello.... Please don't tell me you're still asleep". The person on the other line said. "Who's this?" He asked when he answered.
"Tiego, it's Tshiamo".She paused abit. "I thought you were a gym freak like me" She said to him. Tiego was still enjoying his sleep and she had to just wake him up.
"I love my sleep okay... I mean, I do go to the gym but there's nothing wrong with sleeping in from time to time" He replied. "Well, I wanted to invite you to join me for a session this morning, I hope that's fine". Tshiamo said to him.
"Actually, I'd like that... I'll see you in 30 minutes". He said to her. "Perfect... See you then" She replied excitedly.
"Tiego got out of bed, freshened up and made his way to the gym. When he got there Tshiamo was ready and waiting. As soon as she saw him walking in she waved at him and he walked in her direction. "And he finally makes it" She says in a teasing tone. Tiego looks at her and shakes his head hiding a smile. "Sarcasm seems to be your sting point I see".
"well...a girl can try, can't she?" she put her hand on her waist. Tiego just chuckled, out his bag on the floor and asked her what they'll be starting with. "uhm, I hadn't even warmed up" She said. They did a few warm up exercises, after thag they took to the treadmills and continued with a few different exercises.
Once they were done, they sat on the benches for a chat. "I have to go lift some weights. How about I join you once I'm done. He said to her." Oh, no don't worry, I'll come with you. She kept her self busy with some dumbells as he carried the heavier weights.
"Hey... Would you like to get some breakfast?".He asked her sounding abit nervous. She looked at him and smiled. "Thank you for the offer... But, I think I have a better idea.... Thats if you're game" she said. "Okay, what's do you have in mind?" He asked her.
"Okay, let's both get freshened up and meet up at the location I'll send you" Tiego looked at her. "I thought you were the one who needed a tour" He chuckled a little. "well, I really like the place and it's good to relax after the kind of work out we just had" she said.
For a moment there she thought about Tshidi and how she'd feel about her husband going out with another woman. She also wondered how Motheo would feel about her going out with Tiego after he said what he said to him.
She quickly brushed the thoughts to the side. She wanted to have fun, let loose and for once do things that she likes. Tiego was a bonus for company. It's just unfortunate that she wasn't able to do them all with her husband. She wasn't even worried about him at this moment, she just wanted to be herself.

"knock, knock!" Motheo walked in his mother's house. He found his mom watching TV with a cup of tea in her hands. She had just came back from work. "This is a surprise....to what do I owe the pleasure?" she asked him with a sincere smile."Mom, I just wanted to come see you... You know. Talk, catch up". He looked at her and then she started to see that he wasn't his normal self. Motheo was all about him and even though that irritated her sometimes, it was in his nature and she had made peace with it.
But at this moment, her son wasn't looking good. She began to be concerned. "Motheo, what's wrong?" She asked him without even waiting to make small talk. "Is there something wrong?... Is it Tshiamo? She fired as many questions as she could.
"Mom" He sighed. "There's something I have to tell you" He said. She gave him a worried look and continued to listen. They sat quietly for a while before he could continue.
His mother was looking at him attentively. "I have a child... A daughter and I lied to everyone about her". He spoke while looking down. She kept on listening. "Her mother is Tshidi and....I... I forced her to convince Tiego that it's his daughter. And because she loves me she did it.
" Tshidid and I never separated Ma and Tiego did not steal her from me. I made her be his wife just to keep an eye on him. And to be honest... I don't know why." He looked up.
Tears in his eyes. He was ashamed of his actions, especially now that he's voicing out what he has done, he just feels beyond terrible."Mom, knowing that....that man is my father". She stopped him before he could continue. "No! I am not doing this again. Not anymore! If you want to continue with this crazy obsession of yours, leave me out of it!" she got up to walk out.
"Mama please, I'm not here for that. Please hear me out. You're the only person I have Ma. Please." He sounded genuine and for the first time in a long time he showed his mom the respect she wanted when addressing her.
She sighed and sat back down. He sighed too." I hated Tiego because he had what I wanted.... A father who actually gave a shit. I wanted him to look bad in everyone's eyes and I could replace him and become daddy's golden boy. But the love that bastard had for his son.... He shook his head. Ma he never gave up on him. Never!.
"When I saw that I couldn't penetrate his family the way I wanted to, I tried to create flaws in his character but it never worked. Tiego is genuinely a good person mama and seeing my wife and the woman I love that appauled by me... I just couldn't do it anymore. None of then want anything to do with me. So basically I have lost".
He sniffled, a lone tear on his cheek. "I don't love Tshiamo as much as I should as a husband and someone who's been with her for as long as we've been together. I felt jealous when I first saw her with Tiego. I never knew who she was but I saw the innocence in her and I knew that she would be another amazing thing in his life. " He went to get some water.
"And for the life of me...I just couldn't understand how someone could be so blessed. I mean, he had everything he wanted. He worked hard yes, very hard but so did I. I asked myself why am I not blessed as much, you know." He looked at his mom. "I envied him so much that when I saw something good coming his way, and I could ruin it I did...and what breaks me now is that I did not feel any remorse at that time. I punished the only genuine friend I had over something he was not even aware of. I hated my friend over the mistakes that were made by our parents".
"Mom...how do I fix years of plotting and ruining the lives of those who care about me?... I can't do this anymore. I'm tired of all the lies." He looked at his mother tears all over his face. "I've lived a selfish life Ma" ... He shook his head. "Not anymore". He finished.
With that he got up, got on his knees and apologized to his mother for everything he has ever done to hurt her.
They had a very emotional session but ended up clearing all the tension that was caused by Motheo and his issue with Mr Molapo.
