Tiego was numb with emotions. He felt that it was abit too much but he also felt that he should carry on untill the whole truth is revealed. He wanted to know much more than he did that this point.
He woke up, took a shower and went downstairs. He found Tshego watching cartoons and Tshidi was having a harsh exchange of words with whoever was on the line with her.
She took a deep breath and when she turned around Tiego was standing behind her. "Was that him?" he asked her.
"What?"... She gave him a confused look. "What do you mean, is it him?... Who's him?" she asked him a a bit of an attitude."Your man, love of your life Motheo Tlhabane". He said in a sarcastic tone. "Tiego.... I... She took a deep breath.
"so, you honestly thought the truth wouldn't come out?" He asked her.He still look hot as fuck. All the gym time had definitely paid off. When she looked at him she just felt like he could just take her right there and then. "What are you talking about?" She tired to act dumb.
"Tshidi, you know"... He chuckled. "I didn't think I'd want to hear your side of all this shit..... The whole Motheo and you crap.... It's fucked up." He said to her. He didn't even know what to make of it. He was still processing it all.
"Tiego, I can understand why I got my friend's missed calls. What did she tell you?" she asked. "Everything... Well, I hope". He told her all he was told.
"That's not all... Since you're brought up to speed I'll just tell you another thing that's just makes Motheo dispise you. I honestly think it's not fair because you aren't at fault but... I guess he just doesn't see it that way." What is it Tshidi? " He asked her. He was getting tired of all the run-arounds. "well, he somehow believes that you guys are brothers" she looked at him and he just gave her a confused look. "He thinks that your father is his because apparently his mom had an affair with your dad and it makes sense to him as you guys were born... Like... 2 months apart. She said.
"What the fuck?...are you... Are you for real right now?" He was beyond shocked. His dad had been faithful to their mother from the beginning of their relationship to this day. He couldn't believe that his father would do such a thing.
"My dad would never have a child outside his marriage, let alone abandon them....No, he'd never!"He felt sure if it." Tiego, Motheo says he took all this information from his step dad and that he kept on saying that he isn't his son and that he must go to your dad...His real father. Tshidi believed Motheo for some reason so when Tiego tried defending his father she just wouldn't have any of that.
"This is something you need to work out with your father. I mean if he is indeed your brother, then he deserves to be accepted rather than left out". She said. "That guy was never left out, my father treated him like his own son while we were growing up because he understood the situation at his house".He said.
"Tiego, all I know is that he has resented your father front he time he found out and he vowed to make him suffer by making sure that the only son he accepts becomes nothing but a disappointment while his best friend flourishes. Not that he hasn't grown to care about you all these years, its just that his need for some sort of revenge seems to have power over all the good things".
"you know, every time something good would happen to you he'd make sure that something happened to either stop it or that the whole thing backfires. The accident you had and your dad found weed in the car. The company he kow works for... They wanted you but after hearing what they were offering, he wanted the job for himself.
He sort of forced me to sleep with you and pin our baby as yours and move out of the province. He wanted to convince you that you had to prove to your parents that yoy can be a man. He fed you all the things that he wanted you to do. Not that you needed to but according to him, you had to think in the same way he did.
Luckily when we moved this side you got an even better offer. I couldn't tell him otherwise you would have been on his radar again. He wanted to break you in order to break your father. He wanted him to wish that he was his son instead of you. " she finished.
Tiego was disappointed in his dad and Motheo for keeping such a things from him that has grown to such a dangerous hatred. He started getting angry." you know, I don't give a fuck what mistakes my father made but that's no reason to ruin someone's life. I mean I could be living my bets life but no, I had to settle for mediocrity because I thought I was doing the right thing".
"And now years later, I have to find out that my best friend who I also considered a brother hates me for my father's mistakes. That my father has been lying to all of us for all this time and that my daughter, who I love so much isn't mine and that she actually belongs to this fuck up of a person".
He was beyond overworked." He took a deep breath. "I really need to do something about this. I mean, my dad has alot of explaining to do. I want to know what all of this is and what the hell it means." he said.
Tshidi was all for fond out the truth and letting everything blow in all of they're faces. She believed everything Motheo told her and she was pissed at Tiego's father for treating his own son like an outcast. She felt sorry for Motheo. He too deserved to be loved and have both parents love him.
They both sat quietly for a while. "Do you still love him?" he asked her. He wondered if all the time she's been with him, that he had even the slightest feelings for him. She nodded, tired of telling lies.
"Have you loved him all this time?" She nodded again. "So... You and I.... That was just for his benefit?.... You were taking orders?. He looked at her with disbelief. He didn't want her to say that she loved him or anything. He just couldn't wrap his head around how someone could pretend to love you and be in your corner 100% without any faltering for a whole 5 years.
She definitely is a good pretender and very much dangerous, he thought to himself. "Tiego, what I have with.... Had with Motheo... Is...it's not like what you and I have. You know....she looked at him with so much remorse. She felt bad for him, he did not deserve any of this.
