Tshiamo and Tiego got inside and he went to notify the Dr's assistants' of their situation and he was told thag the Dr will be told and they will be called in. He went to go sit next to her and he held her hand.
They sat quietly as they waited for the Dr to call them in. Tshiamo's pain had subsided and she was just anxious to find out what the issue really was.
"Mr Molapo....The Dr will see you now" A nurse said coming from the direction of one of the offices. They were called in to see the dr. and when they got into the office, they sat down. “so, What can I do for you both…I see that you’re on a wheelchair ma’am so I assume you’re not doing so well” The Dr said. “uhmm, I think I had a miscarriage or something because I haven’t bled this much on my period and this is just freaking me out”. Tshiamo finally spoke.
“Alright, I’ll get a few tests done and then well take it from there okay?” the Dr said to them and they both agreed. She took a sample of Tshiamo’s blood and urine and sent them for testing as they waited. From there, the Dr decided to examine her.
She asked her to get on the patent’s bed, let her lay on her back and started feeling on her belly. “There is definitely a mass here, let’s go to the sonar room and check this further.
Tshiamo pulled down her shirt, got off the bed and they all prepared to go for the sonar. After a while the Dr was interrupted before she could start checking her. One of the nurses came in and gave the Dr Tshiamo’s results back. This was a process that took about an hour or so as they have a lab in their medical centre.
The Dr took them, looked and them and then proceeded to check Tshiamo using the sonogram. “well, seems to me that your little champ is doing just fine” The Dr said with a smile on her face.
She asked Tshiamo to check if she’s still bleeding and how much blood has come out since they left the house. “I’m sorry Dr, did you our say little champ?” Tiego thought that maybe he had heard wrong. “Yes Mr Molapo, you and your wife are having a baby boy. Oh, I’m so sorry, you didn’t know the baby’s sex right? The Dr looked at them both with a smile. “Doc, we didn’t even know that we were having a baby.
The doctor smiled at him. “well, that is normal. Many women, especially when having their first child have, tend to not notice until the second trimester. However, you are going to be fine “She looked at Tshiamo and she nodded.
Tshiamo went to check on the pad she was wearing and found that the blood has stopped. She came back and informed the Dr and they continued with the consultation with Tshiamo getting back on the bed and the Dr showed them the baby.
She started to explain to them what she saw. “According to your ultra sound, you seem to be a little over 20 weeks…that is plus/ minus 5 months. Since you did not know of your pregnancy, I suggest you start with supplements as soon as possible. I can give you a prescription. Find a gynaecologist that you can work with through the pregnancy and you’ll be just fine.
“Can you hear that?....Thats your baby’s heart beat”. Tiego was beyond astounded, his heart was beating fast. He just couldn’t believe it. He started to smile and held Tshiamo’s hand. She looked at him and just started crying again.
This was a very much emotional moment for the both of them. Was this indeed meant to be?. Was he supposed to have kids and a life with her?. Could that be why things didn’t work out between him and Tshidi?. He was just trying to wrap his mind around all of this.
He knew one thing though, this was his child. Tshiamo was carrying a Molapo and hed do whatever to give them both all the love and protection they needed. By the time they left the Drs office. The mood was lighter and Tiego was now on full daddy mode. Holding Tshiamo’s hand, making sure that she doesn’t sprain anything as she walked. If it were up to him, he’d literally pick her up and take her wherever she wanted to go.
“Baby, you are being super dramatic. The baby’s fine….I'm fine. I honestly don’t think you need to be going this extra” Tshiamo was getting a little annoyed. It hasn’t even been a day since they found out about the pregnancy and Tiego is being like this?, How is she going to cope with him being like this for the next 4 months. She didn’t even want to let it get there.
“I just want to make sure that you’re okay” He said back calmly. “I Know and I am fine… We are fine. I think a nap will work just fine for now and then well deal with the rest when we wake up” She said and he nodded as they walked to their bedroom.
Tshiamo changed into her pyjamas and got into the bed. “Does daddy want to nap too?’’ She said in a mocking way and laughed. Tiego smiled and shook his head. He walked over, took off his shoes and pants and got into bed with her. He let her lay on his chest and kissed her on her forehead. “I love you”. She said as she smiled. “I love you too baby”. He replied and they took their nap.

Tshidi came home from work with Molemo and found that Nthabi was waiting for her outside their yard. “What do you want?” Tshidi was already irritated. “Im not here to cause trouble, I just wanted to come clean and let you know about your man’s big secret…hes not as pure as you think he is , you know”. Nthabi was being cocky.
“About the so called child you’re carrying?...The one you claim is his? . Let me spare you the trouble. I know all about it so you can just leave….There’s nothing that you can say to me that I don’t know about that man. You see….that’s how “pure” he is with me. Tshidi smiled. “Well, Motheo is meant to be with us. I won’t raise this child on my own”
“Sweetie, that’s a decision only he can make, and do me a favour, keep me out of it because I don’t give a fuck”. She tried getting in the car and Nthabi stopped her. “The only thing stopping me is you and trust me, I won’t rest till my man and my kid are with me. He needs to know that im the best for him. We belong together.” She said and Tshidi looked at her with confusion.
“I don’t understand why he’s not getting this. First it was that goody two shoes bitch Tshiamo and now it’s you. Well, you know what, no more! I’m done playing nice and now that we are about to have our own child, no one will come between us!”. Nthabi continued. It was evident that she was delusional and there was no telling what she could do. This woman was clearly obsessed with Motheo.
Nthabi got into her car and drove off. The only thing that that mattered to Tshidi was her children, she didn’t want anything to go wrong or hurt them in any way. When Motheo came home, Tshidi informed him about his crazy side and all the threats she made. This amused Motheo but Tshidi took it seriously, she was worried about her family. If this woman could go to lengths of making sure that she gets a job to get closer to him, what else could she do to get what she wants?
“Baby, you really shouldn’t be taking this to heart. Yes, she may seem or may have sounded crazy but she won’t do anything….Alright, how about we beef up our security?. That way she won’t have easy access. I’ll even tell the guys at the at the gate to not let her in. Is that okay?” He said, trying to get her to relax abit but she just nodded. This was definitely going to be a long night for her.
Besides having Molemo be restless, this whole Nthabi thing would prove to be another problem that she has to deal with. After all that she's been through with this man, at this point there was one thing for sure. She wanted out.
