When Tiego landed in the WC, he went straight to the office instead of going home. When he got there he soetred out some of the emails he missed while he was away and then he made a call to his lawyer.
"Mr Molapo". His lawyer answered. "Simon, my man. I've been meaning to contact you with regards to the papers we spoke about. I hope everything is in order".He said to him.
"Yes, I'm done with them. Just let me know when to deliver". Simon replied.
"Great... Tomorrow will be perfect". He just wanted to move to the next phase of his life.Simon agreed and they both said their goodbyes. With that he made his way home. It has been a while since he's seen Tshidi and Tshego, he missed his little girl. He got to the house a little late, so they were already asleep.
He got in and went straight to bed.
Tshidi woke up, saw his car in the driveway and was quiet excited. She went to his bedroom, knocked on the door and waited for a reply. When he didn't answer, she just walked in.
She softly shook him with her hand. He opened his eyes to look up at her. "Hey". She smiled at him. "Been a while huh?" she was happy to see him, she missed him. "Hey... Yeah, how are you?" He wasn't being the mean man he left as.
"I'm alright... It's good to see you". She said to him. "It's good to see you too. Where's Tshego?" He asked. "She's still asleep, but I'll wake her up soon".Tshidi replied. She smiled at him again and went out of the room.
A while after Tiego woke up, he took a shower, got dressed and went to join the girls in the kitchen. Tshego was thrilled to see her dad and she had a lot to tell him. "Go and Fetch your school bag baby, we are leaving in a few minutes". Tshidi told Tshego and she went up to her room.
"uhm...Tiego cleared his throat." Tshidi, we need to talk". He said to her. "Okay..." She didn't like the sound of that. She sat down on one of the chairs and gave him her attention.
"I'll be moving out at the end of the week and I'll be bringing the divorce papers tonight". He said to her, looking straight in her eyes. Tshidi stayed quiet for some time. "Tiego please don't do this". She said to him. She was hoping that he had changed his mind.
"Tiego, I know that I wronged you but doing something this drastic is just....it's just too much" she shook her head. She didn't know how to process it.
"Matshidiso, this isn't about you. This is what I want and for the first time in I don't know how long, I'm choosing to do things for me. You and I had whatever we had and you had your other life, so you can just continue with that because honestly I don't see myself with you anymore".He truthfully said to her.Tshidi was heartbroken. She didn't even have any words in reply. Tshego came back from upstairs and they all left.
When she got to work she called her sister, she needed someone to talk to.
"Tumz". She said when her sister answered. "He's leaving me". She didn't even wait for her sister to ask how she is.
"Why would you say that?...What happened?. Tumi asked.
"Okay, he left for Gauteng about a week ago or so because he had to see his parents about a matter and then when he came back he just said he's leaving and that he'll be bringing the divorce papers tonight". She was down."Tumi, how do I move on from this?... I know I brought it upon myself but how do I pick up from here?" She had lived with this man and learnt to love him. She saw him at his best and now at his most worst. The man was broken and she could see him healing and what made matters worse was that she wasn't the one healing him.
She couldn't understand why he wouldn't want them to try again. It hurt her that her selfish actions just cost her a man who loved her like no other. A man who treated her like a queen. He took care of her and her daughter, even after he found out that the child wasn't his.
He always put the both first in the years they lived together. There wasnt anything that Tiego wouldn't do for his wife and she knew it and she ruined it. The fact that another woman would have that just left her nauseated.
"Tumi, I love him but after all that I did to him...holding him back would be evil".She said.
"So... What are you going to do?" Tumi didn't want to give any advice. Tshidi needed to fix her mess by herself, the only thing she'd do was support."I'm going to sign the papers." She answered.

Tshiamo was sitting in her office just before knock off time and she got a surprise visit from her darling husband. She was now getting worried about him showing up where ever she was. She had enjoyed her time away from him. For some reason it gave her a sense of peace being on her own, making her own decisions without being told how to live and what to do.Tshiamo had been under Motheo's command for a long time and now that she was having a feel of her own freedom and independence, going back to being controlled was not what she wanted.
"Hey beautiful, I was passing by and I thought I should come see how you're doing" He brought her some flowers and her favorite food. "That's nice of you". She said. Her tone was condescending.
"Motheo, I had a long day and I would like to just go home and get some rest". She said. She was tired as she had been handling another troublesome case. "I understand" He was now the guy who always gets shot down. Looking at him, she felt kind of bad.
"Motheo.... Thank you". She said to him. He looked back and smiled, his actions seemed genuine. One would swear he wanted to be nice to a person without an ulterior motive for once."Tshiamo, before I leave I'd like to ask you about your new affair".He looked at her. "I know I'm the last person to question you about infidelity but what the fuck are you thinking fucking another man while you're married?" He asked and his whole demeanor changed.she didn't even get a chance to respond. He walked over to her and held her by the neck.
"If you think I'm going to just lay low and let some douche bag fuck my wife, you're fooling yourself.... Just thought I'd warn you before you think of taking things further. You're mine! ". He then kissed her on the forehead and left.
Dumbfounded and lost for words, Tshiamo stood there in some kind of shock.
