The molapo's woke up early to prepare for the day. The doctor they had seen for the paternity test had called to say that the results are ready. As soon as he got that call, David informed Tiego and he flew back the day before and spent the night at his parents house with the intention of using the same car to go there.

It was a symbol of support to both his parents, no matter the outcome. When they got to Sandton, the Tlhabane family joined them. They said their greetings and sat in silence as they waited for the doctor to call them in.

David was nervous and so was Tiego. Motheo on the other side had a cocky grin on his face. You'd swear he was waiting to throw David's lack of perfection in their faces. He always thought that this man's whole demeanor was just too good to be true.

It never made sense to him how could a person be so good to others without expecting anything in return. And when he saw that same nature in Tiego, it pissed him off even more. So this was his moment to shine, to break the so called perfect Molapo family.

He looked at how David held his wife's hand and thought to himself, "This facade of a life is done with...I will show them flames". This man was just waiting to attack.

Just then, the Doctor called them in. They all went there, still in silence. The atmosphere was definitely thick with tension, worry and fear. The doctor asked them to sit down as he took out an envelope with the results.

He informed the family that they offer counseling services for families who need them or those who struggle with coming to terms with the results. They all nodded and allowed him to continue.

"In the case of paternity of Mr M Tlhabane. The results say that Mr D Molapo is 99.98 percent....not the father of Mr M Tlhabane". He finished and looked at the family. He passed the envelope to Motheo and he took it.

He looked at them, he looked at David and Tiego, then he looked at his mother and then walked out of the room. They all looked at him as he walked out and then turned back to the doctor.

"I hope that the results are satisfactory. I assure you, we have the best lab technicians. These results are a 100% legit" He said, realising the mixed feelings in the faces of the people sitting in front of him.

"It's okay doctor, we appreciate your time" Mr Molapo said. And then they made their way out. When they got to the parking lot, Motheo's car was no longer there. "You can come with us Mme Tlhabane, I know Motheo may be going through a lot of emotions at this point. We should all give him the space he needs".Mrs Molapo said.

Mrs Tlhabane thanked them and the all got into the car and drove home. When they got there, she got into her yard, waved at the Molapo's and then made her way into the house.

A knock on the door at 8pm. Tshidi went to open the door and almost got the shock of her life. "What are you doing here?" she asked. He sighed "You're the only one I wanted to be with right now". He answered.

She opened the door to let him in. "What's going on?". She asked. "Is he home yet?" He asked her and she shook her head. "Does he know that you're carrying my child?" He asked again. "How do you know that the child isn't his?" she asked him and he chuckled.

"What makes yoh think he's capable of that?" He asked in a cocky manner. "Motheo, what are you doing here... This late no less. What's going on?" she was worried. He sat down on one of the chairs in the kitchen.

"Love, I'm having one of the worst days of my life. I feel defeated, I hate myself, I feel stupid for all that I've done to prove a point. I've hurt people who did nothing to me because of some sick thought that was planted in my head".

"I lost my best friend, used you to ruin his life, took what could have been the love of his life for my own selfish reasons.
You know, I found out today that Mr Molapo isn't my biological father.
Fuck!"
Tears streamed down his face.

"I'm a fuck up Tshidi...if there's one person in this life that has never given up on me it's you and you don't deserve what I've put you through. I owe you the world baby.
All this time you stayed by my side and just went along with this devious plan of mine and you've never faulted....Why? "He looked at her.

"Love is a scary thing. But I'll be honest with you. I'm done being a part of you and whatever plot of revenge or whatever the hell you want to do" she knew how manipulative he was.

"All you did was in you, I told Tiego the truth and even after that he was able to show me mercy and kindness. I don't deserve it after all I've put him through. You and I both fucked that man up and he's still standing. And I'll tell you, right now.... Tiego is at his most happiest. I've never seen him that care free. He's I love with someone and that person"..... "Is my wife". He shot in before Tshidi could finish.

She looked at him with a confused look. "What?". "He's fucking Tshiamo" He said to her with no emotion.
"wait... What?... Tshiamo?" it didn't make sense to her. She chuckled.
She felt her heart skip a beat. "wow... I've always asked myself how I'd feel if Tiego would have an affair". She took a deep breath "And I must tell you, it kinda hurts" She said.

"Why?...you didn't love him, so why would you care?" Motheo was surprised. "Motheo, I lived with that man, I slept with him and even though you might think it was just that... I actually care about him. Tiego us a good man and any woman would be lucky to have him". She said

Motheo was somewhat hurt hy those words. He thought that Tshidi was 100% his. The thought of her being in love with another man hurt him. "Love... I'm sorry for all that I've put you through".He sighed. "I'm tired of living a life of proving a point. It's gotten me nowhere. Right now I just want my woman and my kids.... Thats it" He said as he held her hand.

"Motheo, you do realize that it won't be that easy right?".and he shot up again before she could finish. "why... Because your still married to him?....i will make amends with him, if it means that I'll have to go beg him to let you go, I will... I know I owe him alot hut when it comes to you, I'll do whatever it takes.
Baby, I've screwed things up with you and I ask you please... Let me make it right okay?".Tshidi kept quiet and listened to him.

"I'll divorce Tshiamo and let them be, I'll change, I want to be the man you deserve. The father that my kids need.
I've watched my mother go through hell because of molefe and my insanity but it ends hear. I refuse to let you continue with your life in pain.

Please, give me a chance to be the man you deserve... You know I can babe". He kissed her hand. How can this fuck up on a man be her weakness? She couldn't shut him out. He was the one person who always had her back, even when her family cut her off.

Motheo made sure that Tshidi was living lavish, that she had everything she needed. When she fell pregnant with Tshego, it was a very hard time for her and he needed to have a solid plan to take care of her and his daughter without having to loose the plot of his revenge.

He needed someone to keep Tiego in his reach and she was the only one capable of doing it and so they worked together. It seemed like a win win situation for them.

Now that it's all coming back to the master mind, he has to either fix his mess and start afresh or disappear into thin air and live a life of regret.

"Mo... You need to fix things with everyone. If you want us to be a family, make that your priority. I am not going to live in fear of something wrong happening to me or my kids because of your foolish ways. You are going to make amends with everyone that you screwed over, starting with your mother and then Tiego and everyone else. When you come back here and all of that isn't fixed. I'm moving on". She wasn't joking and he could see it.

He nodded. "I promise you, I'll fix it all" he said to her. "Fine... You'll sleep in the guest bedroom and I'll see Tshego in the morning because she's already asleep". She said and liked at him. "Have you eaten?... Do you want something to eat?" she saw the exhaustion on his face.

"Yes, please". He smiled. She made him a plate and poured him some juice. He took his food to the TV room and sat and ate in silence. Tshidi looked at him and all she could feel at that moment was remorse on his behalf. He was a broken man and he had no knowledge of the demage he had made.
