Motheo had spent a few days at his mother's house and at every chance he got, he'd try calling Tshiamo and Tshidi. Tiego had blocked his number.

He decided to go to tshiamo's parents' house since he wasn't sure if she had returned. He knocked on the door. "Good day ma'am. Mrs motlhala was making lunch for her husband.

"What can I do for you Motheo... Is everything OK?" she asked him with concern. "uh... Yes ma'am, everything is fine.... I was hoping to see Tshiamo, is she home?" he asked. "she's not back from her work trip. Haven't you spoken to her?" Tshiamo's mom was confused because she thought he knew everything.

Motheo sighed. "I'll try calling her again, I was not aware that she's not back yet. He said."Thank you for your time". He made his way out. "Motheo" she called out and he turned back. She could see the hurt in his eyes and wondered what could be troubling him.

"would you like to stay for lunch?" she asked him. "uh.. I have a few errands to run, but thank you for the offer" He answered and left.

Tshidi woke up early, fixed breakfast for her family and a few minutes later Tiego walked down all dressed up casually. black jeans on that shaped his toned legs nicely, white Jordan sneakers and a black tight fitting shirt. He looked like a snack.

"Going somewhere?" She asked him. He smelled Devine. Tshidi knew that he wasn't going to the gym because he would have left a long time ago. He did not have close friends near by, well his colleagues were, but he never really hung out with them on a random basis. She got suspicious but did not have the guts to ask more.

"uh...Yeah" He replied walking towards the door, but just as he was about to go through it Tshidi called to him and he turned back.
"What's going on with you?" she  asked him. She might have bit her tongue here and there but she wouldn't leave something lying down.

"what do you mean? He asked nonchalantly." You've been busy lately and it doesn't seem to be work related so, is someone keeping you busy?.... A lady perhaps?. She was up front with her question. "Tshidi, I'm just going out... Why should there be any weirdness behind that? He did not want to be rude.

"well...I thought we'd have some breakfast together, you know, and Tshego will be awake anytime soon". She said with some hope. He looked at her and gave her a small smile. "That would be nice....but I've already made plans... See you later". He said and walked out.

Tshidi stood there shattered once again. She never knew rejection from him but she's been receiving it a alot lately and this time it was evident that he had a distraction. It was not like the other times where he'd be drowning in his thoughts, she knew that look. It wasn't the look he'd have when he's stressed, she knew that look too.

This was a look that was hard to swallow, one that made her realize that she isn't the only woman that can pull his heart strings. And that right there.... It hurt like shit. For a moment she did not even care about what happened in the past with the whole motheo debarcle, she loved this man. In her own weird way yes... But she cared a great deal for him.

*****
Waking up in high spirits, Tshiamo packed up all her belongings as she was done with her work in the EC and had sealed the deal with her clients and was somewhat ready to get back to work.

As she was almost ready, she heard a knock on the door. "Do you have to leave this early?" The gentleman standing out side the door asked as she swung it open. "unfortunately". She shrugged. "The ticket was booked before I bumped into you" she answered as she let him in.

"Coffee?" she asked. "Sure... Thanks" He replied. She still had some time to spare before her flight. They sat at the coffee table in her hotel room, opposite each other. They made small talk and then once they're done with coffee they made they're way to the airport.

Tiego drove her there and when they got there, he walked with her till she had to board the plane. "Have a safe flight OK?"....There was a little awkwardness, the two didn't know what to say. "Thank you....I'll call you when I land." she said it as though she was asking. "Oh definitely.... Of course. I'll wait for your call." He smiled at her.

Hugs there and Tiego placed a sweet kiss on her forehead. "Bye" she said walking away and he waved at her.

*****
"I have lost my husband" Tshidi cried talking to her sister. "I can feel it Tumi, Tiego isn't acting like himself he's just.... I can't even explain it but I know all of this has to do with a woman. She sighed."The fucked up part about this is that I can't even fight with him about it because I've been fucking his best friend and he knows". Another sigh. "What do I do?.... I don't want to loose him". She said sobbing.

Just then, she heard the door open. "Tumz, I gotta go". She hung up and turned around. "Hey... Can we talk?" she asked him when he was approaching. He looked abit tired.

He sat down at the kitchen table and looked at her, giving her all his attention. "Tiego...you have been different lately, you've been going out and looking good. You've been in a good mood as if we hadn't just passed a hard phase in our marriage. I'm shattered at how things are and I wish that we could fix it. But, everytime I try you shut me out". She said to him honestly.

"Matshidiso... I don't know what it is that you want from me. You had your chance to have a relationship with me. A real one..... You had years to make this marriage what you desire. Instead you chose to have a secret relationship with my best friend. I get that you love him and that you were trying to prove that for whatever shity reason, you got his back....and you do. But here's the thing. The truth always has a way of revealing itself and unfortunately my being caught in a fight that had nothing to do with me. Cost me my life".

"Have you and your boyfriend ever considered that I wanted a different life from this?...I mean, I could have been married to a woman who actually loves me". He looked at her and the shame in her eyes needed no introduction.

He shook his head. "I trusted you with my life. I took you as my life partner, the mother of my child. Matshidiso I loved you!" He was now getting pissed. "You lied to me all these years!...I'm here walking around like the biggest fool because you couldn't have a conscience. Because for some reason getting married to someone, making them trust you, fall in love with you, make you feel like you're the luckiest man ever, give you what seems to be the ideal home and a beautiful child who suddenly does not belong to you, cheat on you countless times and fuck up every part of your mind is just a sport". He was furious as these words came out of his mouth.

He had never allowed himself to actually go through all this. But at this very moment, Tshidi had definitely touched a nerve. She knew him but never thought that she'd see him turn on her like now. What hit the hardest was that he wasn't harsh like Motheo, he wasn't keen on bringing fear. Tiego was gentle but still shot straight to the heart with the truth and he did it in a calm manner. Well, most of the time.

"What I am busy with at the moment, honestly has nothing to do with you, nor is it something you should worry yourself about". He stood up, got a glass of water and walked away.

Just as he was about to go upstairs, he turned back to her. "oh... One more thing. I'm going to Gauteng tomorrow, I have somethings I'd like to discuss with my parents and.... Uhm... I want a divorce". He said to her and went to his bedroom.

These words just sent chills down Tshidi's spine, the way he said it so nonchalantly. It just did not sit well with her. It hurt her.
