Why Me?

Another night and another moment of uncontrollable emotions. Jimin stared at his father as the man ate dinner with no care in his eyes. There was no way Jimin was going to eat right now. He couldn't, because he was too disgusted with the man across from him. The father he loved so much left years ago after his mother's death. He couldn't believe what the man had become since then. A disgusting disgrace of a man, willing to hand his son over to "friends" for a few dollars to keep his head above water.

Above water? They were rich, so what the hell was he talking about? Jimin didn't understand but he couldn't bring himself to give a fuck as he hugged himself tightly. One of his father's "friends" had just left before he was called for dinner. Jimin had tried to rip the man's neck off knowing he could but also knew that his father would probably try to remove him from this realm in the worst way possible.

They were vampires but there were still ways to kill them off and they were not the best ways to go. Pain and suffering and Jimin shivered at the thought of any of them happening to him.

His father stopped eating and looked over at him with a blank expression on his face. "Are you not eating tonight, Jimin?" His eyes stared into Jimin's from across the table. Jimin didn't hide the anger that he had bubbling inside of him. To hell with this man. He wasn't his father anymore and would never be again.

"I wonder what mom would think of the things you let happen to me." The furious boy spat out but with an eerily calm voice. He flinched a little when his father slammed his fists onto the table. "DON'T SPEAK OF HER!" Jimin let out a hideous snarl as he did the same as his father then stood to leave.

The man didn't bother stopping him as he left the table and rushed to his room. Of course he wouldn't. He didn't give a fuck about how his one and only son was suffering. No one did. Jimin had other family that lived within their huge mansion but none of them spoke against his father or his "friends", and because of that, Jimin hated them too.

Without thinking about anything else, he entered his room and hurried straight into his bathroom. He grabbed a red medicine bottle that sat on his sink. They were pain killers prescribed by doctors for some patient. He had forced a nurse to get them for him one night when he ran out of his last bottle. He didn't care what the bottle read as he poured 8 into his hand. They wouldn't kill him but they would knock him into a super high state to where he would forget about his fucked up life and sleep until the next day.

Yep, that's how he got through the days and nights. He hated that that was the only way to help him feel better about his life but that's what helped and he would take that over death.

"F-fucking bastard." Jimin mumbled as a few tears rolled down his cheeks. He took in a deep breath before swallowing the handful of pills. He slammed the bottle back on the sink then walked back into his room. His face was blank and his eyes were dead inside as he sat on his bed, looking out the giant window beside it. There was a full moon and he couldn't help but stare at it. It was beautiful.

" My little moon." He could hear his mother's voice whisper to him as he stared at the sky. She was the sweetest woman in the world and Jimin had adored her. She was taken away from him one day and he didn't know how or why. All he wanted was to know the truth of his mother's death so he could move on with his life and heal himself but it didn't seem as if his life would ever be peaceful. "Wh-why me?" Soon, more tears fell from his face and he fell over on his bed. He curled himself into a small ball as his body shook from his uncontrollable crying, then before he knew it, everything went black.
