Once outside, Jimin released the breath he had been holding since he arrived at the cafe. He didn't want to risk smelling anything that would but him in a very difficult position. His bastard of a father decided that he was too fucked up to do anything this morning so he asked, or rather demanded, Jimin to help him with some business meetings.
Free from all the meetings his father had scheduled, he decided to go visit his best friend. With all of the fucked up things that took place during the week, he needed to see his favorite person and vent. Also, he wanted to know how his bestie had been since they hadn't spoken in two weeks. The reason being that Jimin was "busy" but his bestie didn't know what that meant but he was definitely going to drop that load off once he saw the man.
He approached a store made to sell the numerous weapons that were needed for any kind of hunting in their city. Yes, that included weapons to kill vampires. He used to be so shocked when he found out his bestie worked at a place that could be used against him but he relaxed when he found out why.
"I love to keep my enemies close, Jiminie."
Jimin smirked at the memory as he entered the store. Before he could get halfway into the store he was nearly knocked down by a tall presence. He felt arms wrap tightly around him and he smiled as he giggled. "Geez Tae, don't knock me down and be careful with your powers out in public." He stepped back and looked up at his grinning blue haired friend.
"Yah, I know I know. No one's in here and I got too excited, sorry. How's my favorite person been." He beamed down at Jimin but slowly began to frown once he saw the sadness behind the shorter man's eyes. He jogged over to the door and locked it, turning the closed sign on before jogging back to his bestie. "Come to the back. I see we need to have a moment." Tae pulled Jimin into the back of the store, into his storage room/ office.
"Okay, spill." Tae sat down on his couch with Jimin sitting down beside him. Jimin kept his eyes on his hands in his lap as he took some deep breathes to keep himself from tearing up before he started talking. " When I said I busy, I meant that my father had some things for me to do. Well, he had men for me to do...", the silence was so loud and he couldn't bring himself to look up at Tae yet.
" My father makes me have sex with his friends for money, that we don't fucking need. Since mom was killed, things have been like this and this week was the worse so far. One night I had to take three at once. I-I hate h-him." Jimin's eyes widened when he noticed his wet hands under him. He hadn't noticed the tears running down his face. He guess there was no way to keep all the emotions inside as he talked about it.
Tae was so shocked that his jaw hung low for a good few minutes before he pulled Jimin into the tightest of hugs. He couldn't believe that Jimin kept all of that from him. He knew that Jimin had lost his mom a while back, but he didn't know about what had been going on since then. So this was the reason he hadn't heard or seen the man in a while. He frowned in disgust at the thought of Jimin's father. How in the hell could he do that to his own son.
" I'm so sorry Jimin. I wish you would have told me. I would have taken you away and you could live with me." He kept his arms around his friend, not wanting to let go out of fear that the poor man would break. Jimin sniffled but smiled up at his friend. "I would love that Tae, but you know I can't leave the house. We're not just any vampires. There are rules..."
"Fuck those damn rules!" Tae interrupted, more of a grimace on his face. "You can't live with a monster like that and what about your FAMILY?! What the hell are they doing while you're being hurt? I'm disgusted with ALL OF THEM!" Tae was now standing with his hands in his hair. His friend's pain was stressing him out but he didn't regret hearing about it.
Jimin stood and placed a hand on his friend's shoulder to get his attention. "It's okay Tae. I'm getting away tonight. I already told him he won't see me tonight, so let's go out tonight." Tae sadly smiled then wrapped his arm around Jimin's shoulder. "Let's do it bestie! We can get sexy at my place and go out to turn heads...maybe even get laid." Tae smirked at the end with a wicked look in his eyes.
Jimin blushed at the thought of getting laid. It would be nice to be in the company of someone that he actually wanted to touch him. His mind instantly remembered the purple haired man from earlier. He hoped he would take his dad's job offer because, who knows, maybe Jimin could make him a "friend".
A small grin laced his lips as he and his bestie walked out of the store. There was no need to work the rest of the day when there were plans for the night.
