Dark.
It's so fucking dark.
Jungkook's head hung forward as he slowly began to wake up. Where the hell was he? Why is it pitch black? Once he was fully awake, his eyes were wide as he tried to see if he could see even the slightest of something. No luck. He went to stand but stopped when he relied that his hands were tied behind him. His feet were free but because it was so dark, he decided it wouldn't help to get up anyways. He needed to see his surroundings first.
"We have a lot to talk about" A deep voice said, a little too close to Jungkook. He jumped back, practically knocking his head on a wall. However, the voice sounded familiar but he couldn't pin point it just yet.
"Wh-what? Whose there?!" The panic his his voice was close to making him stutter, but he kept it under control as much as he could. It was quiet for a few minutes before he heard foot steps then what looked like two glowing eyes were looking back at him.
He couldn't lie, he was a bit scared at what was coming next. With his hands tied behind him, he couldn't protect himself. The eyes were an icy blue. Even though he didn't know exactly what he was dealing with, the eyes were mesmerizing. They didn't seem to be looking at him aggressively, but with care, and that confused him the most.
"I'm so sorry for this." A soft, familiar voice said before lights came on and he was about to see that he was in a small room. There were no chairs or anything, just him and Jimin. The blue eyes belonged to Jimin.
Jungkook's face scrunched up in confusion as he stared at the man across from him. Jimin stared back at him with the saddest look on his face before his eyes dropped to the floor.
"Wh-what is going on? Wh-why are your eyes..." Jungkook began but jumped back against the wall when the man seemed to appear in front of him. So close that their foreheads were almost touching. Vampire? Jungkook's eyes were wide in shock and deep within him he could feel like something was slowly shattering.
Jimin was silent but his eyes were telling so much. Jungkook could almost feel the hurt, worry, and fear that was radiating from the vampire. He glanced down at Jimin's mouth to catch a glimpse of his fangs that were lightly protruding through his lips. Jungkook didn't realize he was shaking his head as he stared at Jimin's new features.
Jimin wanted to cry so bad. He didn't want this to happen, but who was he fooling? He was told this would never work out. How long did he really expect to hide himself. His real self.
"So you're a vampire?" Jungkook's voice snapped Jimin out of his thoughts, and his eyes focused again. He could see a scowl growing on the tied man's face, so he touched his arm but snatched it back when Jungkook moved away from his touch.
That was it. That was all it took for the tears to glisten in his eyes. He looked down then stood back up, backing away from the man. "We don't ask to be born as what we are, Jungkook. I am sorry about this, but everything that..."
"No!" Jungkook closed his eyes and shook his head as he interrupted Jimin's speech. He couldn't let him say what he thinks he was going to say. That everything they did or everything he said was real. All that didn't matter anymore, and he hated that. He began to feel a burning in the corners of his eyes but he kept his eyes closed. He wasn't going to cry.
Jimin straightened his posture as he wiped away the residue of tears on his cheeks. No more tears. Everything was ending tonight, whether he wanted it to or not. So, he stood with his arms crossed over his chest and a hard look on his face as he glared down at the hunter.
"Don't worry, hunter. I'll wipe all of this out of your memory. Even the fact that you worked at my dad's company. You can go back to whatever your life was before we met." Jimin couldn't help the hissing of the words as they slid like poison through his teeth. Jungkook was throwing their small, but obvious, connection away. So, he would do the same. He just wished that he could get his memories removed, as well.
That's when Jungkook looked up at him. His eyes were dark but there was a small tear that escaped as he stared daggers into him. "Why didn't you just reject me and stay away? This didn't even have to.."
"I could have sworn you were the one who was relentless on having my attention. None of that even matters anymore, hunter. Sit tight. I'll be back with a blindfold, so that we can begin."
Jungkook cocked an eyebrow, "We? Who is we and why do you need to blindfold me? This is bullshit!" Once again Jungkook smacked back into the wall, but this time it was because Jimin had wrapped his claws around his neck and put him there.
The man's face was scowling at him but his eyes were still filled with tears, maybe even more than just a few minutes ago. "No. The real bullshit is how you can easily throw my kindness, care, and overall attraction to you out the window because of what I was born as. I had had thoughts that you were a hunter a long time ago! I decided to ignore that because I thought we would be able to work through our differences one day. I prayed that we would, but I was stupid and naive!"
More tears rolled down Jimin's cheeks as his eyes never left Jungkook's as he nearly yelled at him. The grip on his neck was almost too tight, but a few seconds later, he was released. Jimin was, now, by the door. His hands in his hair as he stared at the ceiling with his back facing Jungkook. He turned around so fast that Jungkook flinched a bit.
"I don't want to remove your memories! I have to, but it's better if I do. I have to disappear from your life and go back to the hell of m-mine! Fuck!" Jimin was walking in a circle at this point as he gripped his hair tightly. He was losing his mind, for sure. Jungkook was an escape that he was beginning to become attached to, especially since he had stopped popping pills recently.
Pills.
That's what he needed. Right? Yeah, that's right.
It grew quiet for a few minutes until Jimin chuckled to himself. Jungkook was staring at him, not wanting to be caught off guard again. Besides, he still couldn't protect himself right now.
Those soft, now empty, blue eyes looked back at him and his heart began to hurt in his chest. He wanted to say that they could move past this, but he didn't really think he could. He hated vampires, but Jimin was so much more than that to him. A few blinks and all he saw was the door to the room closing.
Jimin had left.
