Two part time bartenders came in to relieve Jungkook and Namjoon for an hour and Jungkook couldn't be any happier. He needed to speak to his brother about his plan and prayed that he would help him.
"Joonie hyung. Do you love your little brother?" He asked the man as they stepped into the backroom of the bar. Joon rolled his eyes and sighed as he took a seat at one of the round tables in the room. "What do you want?" Jungkook just grinned as he sat across from him. "I need you to help me get information about Jimin's friend. He was the guy that I saw with the vampire the other night. I thought he would be prey for him but he is still alive so I want to know if he is a vampire or not." Namjoon just stared at Kook with a raised eyebrow, "Has he ever showed up on Hoseok's list?" Jungkook shook his head.
"Okay so then he's more than likely not a vampire. Hoseok is top tier in finding vampires, so maybe he is an innocent human friend that doesn't know the man is a vampire. That is possible, you know." Jungkook shook his head again but as if he was shaking Joon's words out of his ears. "Look hyung, I just want you to flirt with the guy and maybe ask some simple questions that could give me some information to share with Hoseok so that he can look him up. I just want to make sure I'm not missing a perfect opportunity in catching Yoongi."
Namjoon sighed then stood up, looking down at his brother with a serious expression. "Jungkook, the fact that you are a bartender in his favorite place to come hang out is the best opportunity you could ever expect in this situation."
"I know, hyung and I know you don't want to be involved in this part of my life but can you please help me just this once?" Jungkook looked up at his big brother with the biggest doe eyes and slowly poked his bottom lip out just a bit. He knew Namjoon couldn't say no to his pouty face so he decided to pull it out of his bag of tricks. The older man looked away and began walking to the door, rubbing the back of his neck. "Bring your troublesome ass. We don't have much time to bullshit." Jungkook's eyes lit up as he hopped up and followed his brother out of the break room.
They decided to grab two more of the drinks that Jimin and his friend had ordered earlier before heading to the VIP room. There were two large bodyguards outside of the door but it was opened by Jimin's friend once they got there. Jungkook figured they watched them make their way there. "Jimin, your bartenders must be trying to intoxicate us." The handsome blue haired man said as he looked over his shoulder at Jimin then back to them with a smirk.
Jimin walked up behind the man and eyed the drinks in the two brother's hands. Namjoon cleared his throat to break the awkward silence, "Sorry sir, we wanted to treat you two to another of your favorite." He said smiling politely, his dimples on full display and his eyes on the blue haired man.
Jungkook mentally chuckled as he noticed his brother beginning to work towards his plan. "That's my hyung." He thought to himself, a smirk crossing his lips. Jimin noticed it and raised an eyebrow in wonder of what the man could be smirking about. "You two must be on your hour break. You choose to socialize like one of our customers on your break?" Jimin said slowly, still watching Jungkook.
Their eyes met and it became quiet again, until Jimin's friend moved to open the door open a little more. "It's fine. Nothing wrong with enjoying a drink or two. Time is limited so let's enjoy it while we can, yeah?" He smiled at both the brothers as they walked into the room. Once the door was closed, Jimin grabbed the drinks out of the brother's hands and handed one to his friend.
"This is my friend, Taehyung. Taehyung this is Jungkook, my new bartender and his brother Namjoon." Tae held his hand out to shake their hands and they did so. "So, what caused this sudden gesture?" Tae asked as they all sat down. Tae and Jimin sat beside each other on one side of the couch and Jungkook and NAmjoon on the other side.
Namjoon spoke up before Kook could open his mouth, "I wanted to buy you a drink and my little brother decided to accompany me so he brought another for Mr. Park." Jimin and Jungkook looked at each other and Jimin passed him one of the prettiest smiles Jungkook had ever seen on someone. Taehyung caught the exchange and lifted an eyebrow but decided to leave that for a later conversation with his best friend.
Taehyung looked back at Namjoon, who still had a small smile on his face as he looked around the room's walls. "That's nice of you, Namjoon. You're a gentleman." That drew the older man's attention back and he bowed slightly with respect, "Indeed I am. I guess I've learned a lot from working around some very rich men every night. I bartend for different events but fulltime at the Casino on Ashton Ave. "
Jimin watched the two and noticed that Tae seemed to be interested in Namjoon's conversation, so he decided to slide over to Jungkook. "How about you sit a little closer to Taehyung, Namjoon. You two are having good conversation and I wouldn't want to interrupt you in any way." He smiled at the man and Namjoon bowed in thanks as they switched seats and Jungkook slightly leaned into the smaller man when he was comfortably placed beside him.
"I think I may need to have another VIP room made. You know, just in case my friends end up meeting people." Jimin said softly as he looked Jungkook over. He wanted to smell the man but he refrained from doing that. Besides, it wasn't just them in the room. "Maybe so. How have you been since the last I saw you?" Kook asked as he sat back more comfortably on the couch, his legs spread open in a relaxed state.
Jimin's eyes darted to his lap, but only for a second so it went unnoticed. He swallowed hard as he thought to what the dangerously, handsome man had just asked him. Instantly, flashbacks from the other night with Voss and he stared down at his hands in his lap. "I've been great, actually." His head shot up as he forced the biggest smile. Jungkook nodded slowly as he watched him. He felt like the man could tell he was lying, but he didn't care because his life wasn't the man's business.
They carried on a, somewhat, useless conversation about random things. Unlike them, Namjoon and Tae. By this point, they were laughing and Tae was leaning more into the man.
"Well, our hour is up Kook. Let's go." Namjoon passed a dimpled smile to Tae before standing to leave. Jungkook did the same to Jimin before walking out the door.
Jungkook looked at Namjoon as they approached the bar. "Anything good?" Namjoon nodded, "I got some information but I doubt he is a vampire but I'll tell you after the shift so that you can let Hoseok know." Kook nodded before they switched with the other bartenders.
